Chapter 5

I watched as Ellie turned and walked out of the kitchen, I took a deep breath and walked out of the kitchen and into my room. I opened my vanity drawer and pulled out the picture of Rhea and everyone. The girl in the picture didn't match Ellie so who was she?

I heard a knock on my door and I put the picture back into my drawer. " come in" . Walking in was Dom, I ran over to him and embraced him and he hugged me back closing the door. I smiled at him, " i missed you so much, it's been-"

Before I could finish my sentence, he walked into my bathroom and turned on the sink and motioned for me to come in, I agreed. He smiled and said, " It's been 2 days since I did that."

I laughed, " If Rhea knew that you knew where I was I'm pretty sure she would kill you."

" If Rhea found out you've been trying to become one of us and that Finn and I are helping would be even worse."

" ooo how is Finn by the way?"

" still married."

I roll my eyes, "and you?"

" not interested in the dating scene."

I chuckle, " Dom Mysterio doesn't like to date, that's new"

" Im 126 years old, trust me i've seen enough"

" but everyone has that great love of their life, maybe you just haven't found yours yet."

He shrugged, " it's best to let our friends have the things we want." " sounds like you're speaking from experience."

He shook his head, " maybe but you shouldn't worry about things like that." I put my hand on his, " You can talk to me you know."

He looked at me, " no.. I can't. The guilt of me knowing where you were was already eating me alive."

" you ran into me on accident and i begged you not to say anything, that's not guilt."

He shrugged, " iguess, i've been trying to keep you away from us and away from danger since we've met."

" wdym since we've met?"

" you don't know what I'm talking about do you?"

I shook my head no and he sighed," oh yeah we erased your memory.."

" you did what to my memory?"

" it was for your own good."

I turned off my sink and pushed him, " WHO ERASED MY MEMORY. WHAT DID I FORGET"

He turned the sink back on and shouted back at me, " stop fucking yelling. I HAD TO PROTECT YOU."

" WHY! Why do you need to protect me huh? I DON'T NEED FUCKING PROTECTION."

" I HAD PROTECT YOU FROM US OKAY? It was better for us if you didn't know who we were, it was better for you to have a normal fucking human life but no, RHEA had to fall in love with you when i HAVE LOVED YOU SINCE I MET YOU."

I went silent and he looked at me, " i was only trying to protect you..."

" give me my memories back."

" its not that easy."

" dom give me. My . memories back"

" I don't want to hurt you Eden.. please understand"

I picked up my small hand held mirror, broke it popping the glass out of the frame. I held it against my arm, " give me my memories."

" put the glass down." His voice stern and him looking at me with a frown in my face. Dom being the vampire that he is, has zero control over his blood lust meaning if i cut myself which sounds extreme at the moment but who has time to think about it.
