One Hour earlier

Me and Stefan, Elena and Damon enter the library.
One more time again I said still not sure. All right, we'll say that Mikael followed Elena in here. He tried to grab her so he could use her as bait Stefan explained. And you, what, vervained him? I questioned. No, we vervained him. The guy's an original. Make it realistic Damon remarked.
Ok. Fine. We vervained him and in the process discovered that he had a dagger I replied. Which he planned to use on Rebekah. But instead... Elena added. We drove it through his heart Stefan replied. And what happens when he asks to see Mikael's body? I asked. Good point Damon turned to Stefan. You, my brother, have been compelled to do what Klaus says. So if the idea is to lure him back here and kill him, the last thing we need is you getting tripped up and tongue tied Damon explained. Well don't look at me. I'm just in charge of getting him back here Stefan replied annoyed. Klaus is smart. If we tell him that Mikael's dead, he'll want proof I replied.
Mikael enters. Then I shall be dead he spoke. He puts a dagger and a vial of white oak ashes on the table.

I raised my eyebrow unsure. What if he wants to see in person? I asked. Well, it means our plan is working. Klaus will absolutely want to see my body. You lure him here, and I will kill him he replied looking at me. With what? Those daggers won't work on him Damon replied. Well, I'm in possession of a stake fashioned from the wood of the ancient white oak tree The one that left these ashes when it burned Mikael explained my eyes widen. Where is it? I questioned. He smiled at me Not here. Knowing its location is my insurance policy he replied back.
He puts the dagger in the vial containing the white oak tree ashes. Against what? Stefan questioned. You leaving this in my heart. You see, a vampire can't dagger an original without dying. So... it falls to you He holds the dagger toward Elena. You want me to actually dagger you? Elena asked confused. Klaus will leave nothing to chance. Especially when it comes to trust Mikael replied back.

Back to one hour later

I want to see him. I want to see his rotting body for myself Klaus spoke sounding hateful. Well, he's here Stefan replied. He gets up and looks at Mikael's body. Me and Elena and Damon are here. Come by whenever Stefan added. If you're lying to me, Stefan, your compulsion will expose you. So answer with your life. Is what you're saying the truth? Klaus questioned. It's true. I'm miserable here she spoke sounding sincere. I'll be home soon klaus replied. Good. I'll see you then, brother she said as She hangs up, looks at Mikael and then gives the phone to Stefan. He bought it. He's coming home she spoke I gulped nervous. Elena is relieved. Rebekah leaves the room. Stefan looks at Elena and Damon. Now was that easy or what? Damon asked smiling. Let's just get this over with I replied as Elena removes the dagger from Mikael.
