Pulling your coat close, the bustling streets and sounds of Morioh's night scene felt comforting. Business men talking loudly, teenagers laughing and dancing in the streets, and women gossiping about the days events used to be unsettling, but after passing out, nothing could make you feel more at ease than human connection.

Activating your stand ability, red strings flooded your vision once again and it made you smile seeing some couples hold hands with connecting strings. You wished them a fulfilling life as you held your hands up and framed the setting sun, looking at your own bare hands and pretending the rays were a red string around your little finger. Taking a glance at Jotaro, his hands were in his pockets, but you look notice at there was a singular red string coming out. The end of the string dragged behind.

It didn't take long before arriving at the boardwalk above Morioh beach. You walked down the boardwalk stairs with Jotaro and headed towards some large rocks embedded in the sand. It was the same place where you both first went to the beach.

Jotaro was silent as you climbed on the rocks and looked out on the ocean. The top of the sun was peeking over the horizon by the time you found a comfortable spot. The crashing waves were mere meters away.

Taking in the salty air, you looked over at Jotaro before looking back at the sea and you wondered what he could be thinking about. He was still a mystery, but from what you could tell he was a good man, but very troubled. The only time he never looked like a stone cold man was when he had a small breakdown in the hotel bathroom. Since then, you've felt more at ease around Jotaro and his cold exterior.

The coastal winds started to pick up as a strong breeze flew through and almost knocked you off the rock you were sitting on. You held your arms out for balance before a large hand grabbed your shoulder and pulled you back to your original position.

"Careful. The wind is particularly strong when it's almost night here."

"Thank you for your assistance.", a twinge of embarrassment left your face feeling warm, but a feeling of curiosity started to be mixed in, "Do you know why the wind feels stronger and colder at night?"

Jotaro looked unamused at your question.

"Something to do with the heat cycle. Hot air rises because of the sun and when it disappears, all that air cools and comes down as wind as it cycles. Something like that if I remember correctly."

"Oh. That makes sense, I guess. That's interesting however, I have never heard of the heat cycle before. It was never something I needed to study I suppose. Did you learn all of this when you studied at university?"

The sun was nothing more than a sliver of orange before disappearing after you spoke and the sky was a stunning indigo with a deep magenta accent.

"No, I didn't, it's something we're taught in-"

"Yo Jotaro!"

A familiar voice shouted from behind as the sound of a muffled thud, followed by the shifting of sand, and multiple footsteps following those noises. You both turned around and saw Josuke and two other boys running behind him. One had baseball lines down his face and the other was a really short boy with grey hair and apparently really liked the color green.

"Josuke? What do you want?", Jotaro sounded annoyed as he spoke, "And why are Okuyasu and Koichi with you? Aren't you guys supposed to be home studying?"

Josuke pouted and put a hand up as to state a fact in a sassy way, "Yea, but we finished studying and taking the night off to go to the arcade. We were just walking by before Okuyasu saw you guys being all alone here on the beach."

Josuke pointed to the boy with baseball scars and he smiled and waved. "Hi! I'm Okuyasu!"

You waved back awkwardly and tried to smile back. Jotaro just pulled his hat over his eyes and sighed heavily.
