[Prologue]
Jeongin watched as the rain clouds gathered more, darkening the brilliant afternoon sky. The wind hauled from the east, whooshing through shrubs and grasses planted in the school yard, managing to yank Mr Kang's wig along with it.
Perfect.
His perfect plan was coming together perfectly.
He had intentionally left his umbrella at home after checking the weather forecast for today. It was going to rain and that pleased the black haired way too much.
When the bell rang, signalling the end of school, he pushed himself off the desk and aim towards the exit. She must be there, she always leaves early.
His master plan is to tag along with Iseul– his crush– she's ever so nice and wouldn't say no to someone who 'forgot' his own umbrella.
Jeongin soon made it to the gates, searching for that familiar pink umbrella and there it was. He jugged under the rain, flinching when the cold droplets would land on him. But it was going to be worth it.
"Hey Issy, may I tag along with you?" He flashed that adorable smile, standing in front of the girl.
The umbrella slowly rose up, making Jeongin's smile to fade, that wasn't his Issy. She always has a smile on, unlike the scrawl on this girl's face. Her brown eyes were always glistening, this one held annoyance.
"No, you may not."
