[Third person pov]
“His poem was a little. . .unique.”
Jina beamed, giving herself a mental high five. After another stress inducing day at school, Jina went straight to Iseul to get a review on what she thinks about Jeongin's note.
“Unique? Is that good or bad?” Jina noticed how Iseul's feature were soft rather than the swooning expression she hoped to see, cause damn, that poem was so good, she even felt butterflies reading it.
“Jina, I gotta go,” Iseul shouldered her bag, a small smile on her lips. “I promise Mum I'll be home early.”
“Oh, take care!”
Jina watched in awe as Iseul got further away, musing why she was so down. Did something happen? “Hey Jina, you look like you've seen a ghost, what's up?”
“Hi, Haneul, ready to go shopping?” Jina turned to the new comer, smiling a bit.
“Speaking of, I gotta go to the library first,” Haneul enunciated. Jina only now realize the paper she clutched in her hand.
“Library?”
“Oh my God, I didn't tell you, I've got a secret admirer. I mean duh, you should know cause you gave me the note. And by the way, brilliant idea to make it seem like you wanted to help write my list Jina. oh my God, Jina, I gotta go, he's probably waiting for me,” Haneul prattled, waving at Jina as she sprinted down the hall, her short hair bouncing with every step she took.
It was at that moment Jina realized she fucked up.
“Jeongin hi, yeah, I can explain,” Jina ran up to the male she second she spotted him exit the gate. She had waited long enough for him, knowing full well he would come out rather disappointed.
“That you messed up?” Jeongin gave a short cold laugh, it sounded kinda sadistic if you ask me, but you didn't, so I'm gon' shut up now.
“We'll do over, I'm sorry I gave Iseul the grocery list instead,” She ran up to the speed walking male, tugging his shirt.
“What?” Jeongin stopped abruptly, a shocked look on his face. “You made me look like a fool!”
“Well at least you look like something.”
“That fucking hurt my feelings.”
