The body dropped to the floor and Satoru was witness to what could probably be the lamest fall ever, due to his neck being broken, his fell to the ground dead and landed on his head which caused it to literally pop off.
Satoru had just seen a dead man falling to the ground and getting his head popped off because of the fall. Satoru took a handkerchief out of his sleeve and quickly cleaned the blood off of his face and clothes.
Satoru took out this phone and took a picture of it, before then sending it to his former boss and reporting in a success.
The next minute, Satoru got a ping with a message that said '100.000.000 yen is now transferred to your account.'.
Satoru smiled and nodded to himself before saying "I can finally relax and I have no need to worry about work ever again.Walking out of the front door of the manor, no one noticed him, it's like he was invisible, yet that's only because of the skills that Satoru owned, one of them being {Shadow control} like the name said, he can control his own and other people's shadows.
Very useful if you want to hide, but not so much in the aspect of combat.
This was of course a little trick that Raphael had taught him during the few days of training before coming to Bruckenburg. After an hour, Satoru finally returned to the hotel and started to question himself on what to do now.
Satoru had finished his last mission, but Chloe was till awake and England didn't suffer too much from the gates,
The gates are mostly situated in Japan because it didn't have the time yet to Corsa the sea and infect other countries. The gates were after all because of the Magicules that remained after the death of Satoru, Chloe did bring him back, which is why the Magicules were trapped in this world and thus started creating gates, so that Satoru could die fighting in them and then be reincarnated into the Cardinal world like he should've been.
Due to all this, the gates had not yet reached England, the closest was after all in Russia on the coast closest to Japan.
But no other country had been infected yet."'Maybe it's time to just relax and take in the scenery of England for a while.
Maybe even rise to the rank of a noble and establish a small little territory of my own.
But back home I already have an island meant for that."'Thinking back to home, Satoru asked Raphael >Is there maybe a way to get home and then come back here instantly?<
<It is possible, two suggestions.
Teleportation or shadow movement?>
Satoru questioned how shadow movement would work like that and asked
>How would shadow movement work over this distance?<
<All shadows are connected one way or another, you can go wherever you want with Shadow movement, you can go as far as Japan and if there was a shadow that extended all the way to the moon, you could even do that.>
Satoru was amazed by the capabilities and asked
>So it is possible to check up on Chloe and return within an hour?<
<Affirmative.>
>Do it Raphael.<
<Yes, master>In an instant, Satoru traveled over the entirety of the world and ended up back at his house in Japan.
Quickly running up the stairs, Satoru opened the door to Chloe's room and checked up on her condition. Feeling the stable heartbeat and other vital signatures, Satoru smiled and placed his hand on her forehead. As if hoping to let her hear it, he sent a single thought into her body "'I miss you Chloe."'
In the cardinal world.
Chloe had just finished clearing a bandit camp, before she heard the words "'I miss you Chloe."'
Chloe immediately recognized this as Satoru's voice and smiled in happiness.Currently it's been 300 years since she came to the cardinal world, yet it'll still take another 2000 years at least for her to go back home, and hearing how he said it, Chloe had assumed that no small amount of time had passed back there either.
