I live in Europe so my 12 at lunch, might be your 18 at dinner or even 8 in the evening.
But happy new year.

This is a continuation of the previous Christmas special.

After waking up on 26 December, both Chloe and Satoru got out of their bed and walked down to the kitchen. Satoru set up breakfast and got the fire going. Chloe was also sitting down at the table and waiting for Satoru to sit down in order to start eating. Satoru smiled at Chloe and flipped the egg inside of the pan. Chloe smiled back and kept looking at him.

Satoru placed the omelette onto a plate and set it down in the center of the table.
Satoru cut a small piece off of it and folded it in between his slice of bread. Chloe did it a little differently as she first buttered up her bread and then added some ham before then placing the piece of omelet between the slices.

Chloe and Satoru bit down on their bread slice.

After half an hour, the couple were finally finished eating and were talking about the world they were in before they were sent to this snowy world.
Satoru had told everything, from how he started visiting England, all the way up until he finished the journey after five years, only to find his family dead and then accidentally vaporize all of Japan within a minute. He also told her about recreating nature and creating a city for the humans.
Afterwards he told Chloe everything that happened in the cultivation world and what's been going on even more.

Chloe listened attentively to everything that Satoru said and noticed a few things that sounded off to her, but she swatted those worries away and smiled brightly.
Chloe then started her own story from when she just arrived, till beating up Veldora and even the kingdom she was creating, but more than ever, she was simply happy being with Satoru.

After an hour, both Satoru and Chloe snapped out of their talk and noticed the time, they then cleaned the dishes and sat back down on the couch.
Satoru and Chloe were people that were very centered around fighting, so when there was no fighting involved, the couple didn't know what to do. The house never got dirty and if it did, a little bit of wind would clean it, their clothes also never went dirty, they didn't need to wash themselves, although they still do that a lot, the garden was small and only took an entire hour to clean it up, they didn't have a job, so they had more free time and most of all, they were only there temporarily, so building a shack in the garden was too much effort for nothing, getting their identities made by the government would also take too much time and that was time they could spent together.
So unless the task was to bask in the presence of one another, they were bored.

Satoru obviously searched for many ways to relieve his boredom, but fighting was the only thing that could truly affect him on that level, as well as Chloe, but that just makes sense, Chloe is the one person he loves more than anything else.

Chloe was similarly bored, they had nothing, no tasks, no jobs and watching TV constantly would eventually make it boring. They had to find an actual hobby and one that could last permanently even if not in this world.

Satoru had realized what Chloe was thinking about and helped a little, "Why not something materialistic, like necklaces or sculptures, maybe even talismans or bracelets." Chloe nodded her head and said "Those are indeed good suggestions, but they might take a long time." Satoru shook his head and went to their room, when he came back, he was holding a little box with marbles in it of all shapes and sizes. Chloe looked on in wonder and asked "Where did you get all these?" Satoru smiled and answered "Back in the cultivation world, we had the mortal realm and there were four continents, but I already told you about that, well, on the northern continent, there was also permanently a layer of snow blocking their paths, so in order to keep themselves entertained, they used marbles to carve sculptures and make jewelry. Well, an old lady was on the verge of dying when I visited, I healed her illness and extended her lifespan as an aftereffect, she then gave me one of her bowls of marbles to me."
Chloe nodded her head and took a marble out of the bowl, it had a distinct night sky like pattern on it.
A dark themed marble with many white dots covering it.
