TWENTY - THREE

"What number do you got?" I ask Yibo. But unfortunately, he got the number 5 while I got the number 11.

Lucky for Yixuan and Sungjoo, they got the same number. But the rest of us, still looking for our partners.

"Number 11 please." I heard the girl said, who was coordinating this 'game' if you may call it.

I walked towards her and saw a guy coming to our way too.

"11?" the guy said.

"Yeah." I smiled.

"Ok, here are your flashlights and your flags. Enjoy you trip." The girl said.

We were now walking when my partner suddenly blurted out.

"I haven't told you my name." He smiled shyly.

"Oh, right. My name's Tricia." I said.

"Nice to meet you, Tricia. I'm Jr." he smiled cheekily.

We were telling stuff about each other while walking, then I saw the first check point.

I pointed it and Jr placed it together with the other flags. Then we continue to walk and look for the second check point up to the fourth.

Finally, after some screaming, crying, back riding, stopping on the tracks because we're scared, we found the cave.

The girl said that the cave will lead us to where we started, but we'll have to walk first so we could reach to where everyone is. But we just have to be careful since the cave has already been ages.

Jr went in first since it was downwards. He instructed me to sit first and slowly drop myself down. We crawled in since we really can't stand because it was really underground cave. He told me that he should be the first one so he could guide the way out.

It was crawling all the time. My back hurts really bad and I can't really continue.

"Trish, we're near. Can you still make it there?" He asked, stopping in his tracks.

"It's fine. I can do it. Just crawl a little faster." I said, wincing in pain.

We crawled and after 15 to 20 minutes, we we're back to the forest. I really can't take the pain anymore, so I lie down in the forest floor, dried leaves were crunching in my back.

Jr was patting me lightly to see if I was awake. I am awake, but I just really can't take the pain.

He carried me bridal style and he was half walking and half running.

We finally arrive and heard people gasp at us. The people in charge of this 'game' immediately checked me up and Jr said what was wrong.

I heard Yixuan and Sungjoo's voice along with the others.

After checking me up, they said that nothing was wrong. I just got exhausted by crawling for an hour.

When we're done, me and boys finally met again.

"Are you ok? Does it still hurt?" Seongyoun asked.

I just nodded in reply and I remembered that I haven't said thanks to Jr.

I saw him near the tree, talking to what I guess is his band mates.

I walked towards their direction, and called Jr.

"Hi. Can I have a minute?" I ask Jr and they said yes.

"Uhm, Sorry. That I let you carry me. And thank you, though. For the concern." I smiled shyly.

"You're in pain. And since I am your partner in the game, it is my responsibility to help my partner. And you are welcome." He smiled cheekily. He suddenly stretched his hand out and said, "I'm Jr. Nice meeting you." He said.

I chuckled and replied, "Hi, I'm Trish and nice meeting you too."

We said our good byes and when I went back to the boys, they were giving me a look that I don't quite understand. Is it jealousy?
