Saturday 1pm
Rosé's P.O.V.
There was knock on my dorm room door as I stumbled out of bed. It was early in the afternoon and I'd slept most of the morning after drinking too much the night before at the bar.
Opening the door, I was greeted by Jisoo my best friend with a carrier bag of my favourite snacks in her hand and her usual cheerful smile. "Good morning Rosé~ or maybe I should be saying good afternoon."
"What makes it good? My head hurts." I complained as she chuckled and wandered into my room, placing the snacks on the table in the corner.
"I see you're cheerful after last night. Come here." She opened her arms widely as I pouted and hugged her tightly. She checked my forehead that was still hurting since this morning. Jisoo always knew just how to make me feel better especially when I was feeling unwell.
"Did I make an ass of myself?" I mumbled sadly into her shoulder as she laughed lightly, threading her fingers through my hair soothingly.
"No more so than usual.. ouch!" I pulled away and gently nudged her arm as she faked a hurt expression while still laughing.
"That's not funny, Lisa was there." I mumbled in embarrassment. I'd found her aloof attitude to be somehow charming.
Jisoo's tone seemed to change as she wandered over to the carrier and began to get out my favourite strawberry milk drink. "Yeah.. she seemed nice."
"I think I was flirting with her a lot." I said under my breath, recalling memories from dancing with Lisa at the bar.
Jisoo rolled her eyes, handing me a box of flavoured milk. "I noticed."
"Kinda strange that Jennie showed up again. Do you they're together? Lisa didn't say they were... but then she doesn't really say much of anything." I spoke out loud thinking back of the past week since we'd met, taking a sip from the straw in the carton.
Jisoo sighed loudly as she sat down beside me on the bed. "Why do you do this?"
"What?" I asked, glancing at her in confusion.
"Like someone who's aloof instead of oh I don't know someone who feels the same for you and really cares.." Her words trailed off. We'd had this conversation before. Jisoo was quite protective of me dating anyone, especially someone I'd just met.
"Like who?" I questioned in curiosity.
Her eyes went wide as she suddenly seemed tense and on edge, playing with the straw in her drink. "Well... maybe.. nevermind! What should we do today?"
"I thought you wanted to have a gaming afternoon?" It was our usual lazy Saturday afternoon where we usually watched movies or played video games together after a busy week on campus.
Jisoo smiled as she placed her arm around my shoulder."I do but not if you're not feeling up to it. I know how frustrated you are when you lose-"
I huffed, my cheeks slightly puffy making her laugh. "I'm not gonna lose! Do you think we could.. invite Lisa too? I mean.. I could message her and ask if she wants to join us?"
