Friday 3pm (2 weeks later)

Lisa's P.O.V

The end of another week had approached with one lecture left until it was finally the weekend. As had become a bit of a routine, I ventured to the lecture hall, signed my name and left 10 minutes after it started.

I couldn't maintain my focus any longer and didn't want to go back to the house. Jennie and I had been preparing for our upcoming exams. She was often messaging me and despite being much closer recently, I still felt a need to keep at a distance. It was just a feeling after she told me about Jia's first husband Han's accident and how he'd been a pilot. Did Jennie know more than she was saying about the tragedy?

It also seemed that every time we got to know each other as the weeks passed by that there was something odd that I couldn't help but notice about her presence. It was like jealousy that was brewing, her demanding nature was such a contrast to the caring side I'd seen of her. It was honestly confusing.

So wandering just outside the campus grounds of the university, I ventured to nowhere in particular enjoying the scenery and fresh air from the cool climate.

A short while later, I noticed by chance at the end of the street a small music store on the corner

A short while later, I noticed by chance at the end of the street a small music store on the corner.

Upon entering the store, it was like my version of paradise. It was filled with a variety of music CDs, albums and posters as well as a collection of vintage vinyl records. It even had a small coffee station in the corner with a few couches and arms chairs for relaxing with what appeared to be a small stage area for local bands to perform. Even in the background, my favourite band was playing.

On the notice board on the far side of the store, I saw 2 flyers to which took my interest. The first was a local dance studio were I could practice in my free time, the second was advertising a job there for a few hours on the weekends. It seemed perfect as I took both down to read more about it.

"Hey Lisa!" A familiar voice cheerfully said as I turned towards the counter in surprise.

"Rosé?" She was wearing a name badge and sweater with the name of the store on it indicating she worked there

"Rosé?" She was wearing a name badge and sweater with the name of the store on it indicating she worked there. Her braided blonde hair and light make up looked flawless. And though I didn't want to say, I was really attracted to her.
