Sunday 00:45am

Lisa's P.O.V.

It was a few hours later into the early hours of the morning when the alcohol took over and I lost myself in having a good time with Rosé. Flirting, drinking and listening to our favourite music all the while Jennie was keeping an eye on me, watching like a hawk from nearby. Though Jisoo was talking to her, it didn't seem as if she was listening. She didn't seem happy to be here at all.

After a little more dancing, I eventually made my way out for some fresh air. I liked being in the dormitories, it was fun and reminded me of last year on campus in Thailand before I transferred universities.

Yet as much as I enjoyed the company, sometimes I just needed that moment alone again. I breathed in the fresh night air, holding the railings of the balcony of Rosé's room and glanced above in wonder at a sky filled with glistening stars.

"I always seem to find you away from the crowd." Startled, I turned around to notice Jennie was stood by the balcony doors, sliding them closed to join me whilst looking up at the night sky too.

I didn't reply still gazing away when I felt her turn to look at me. "Why are you mad at me, Lisa? I thought we'd moved past this."

Shrugging my shoulders, I leaned my arms on the railings feeling the bitter cold. "I don't know what you're taking about?"

"I think you do. You've been avoiding me all day. Is something on your mind?" She asked, I knew she wouldn't stop asking until I finally answered but I was still reluctant.

"Are you upset because of the argument with your dad?" She continued, removing a small piece of stray cotton off the shoulder blade of my jacket.

"You shouldn't have been listening to that." I scoffed, creating more distance between us.

"It was difficult not to when you were yelling." She retorted back, still staring at me. Her eyes were so gentle, beautifully mistifying and deep that I could stare into endlessly.

"Right, whatever." I replied, breaking my trance to roll my eyes before continuing to gaze out at the starlit sky again.

"He asked where you'd been going lately. I happened to mention you might be with Rosé, that was all." She stated ever so casually.

"You shouldn't have mentioned it. It's not his business." I argued back, glancing at her only to be memorised by her sudden beauty in the moonlight. This was another reason I'd been avoiding her. She was hypnotic and captivating simply by her mere presence and I felt myself getting lost.

She didn't argue back, instead gave a small smile as she glanced back at me. "Maybe not."

I sighed in my frustration of seeming to go round in circles. "You really need to stop prying in my business, Jennie. It's getting in my head and it confuses me."
