CHAPTER THREE. it was kinda cute.
cordelia's terrific cheering
and carlos's terrible tourney playing,
what could go wrong?"Give me an A! Give me a U! Give me a R-A-D-O-N!"
"What does that spell?"
"Auradon!"
The cheerleaders clasped their blue and yellow pompoms high in the air, shaking them rapidly with a noisy cheer. They smiled from ear to ear, laughing among each other at the hyper routine.
Cordelia jumped up and high-fived the girl next to her, praising the girl's successful stunts.
"I don't know why you all are cheering," Audrey, the team's captain, glowered. She examined them in dissatisfaction, hands placed on her hips disapprovingly, "I noticed more than a few mistakes."
"Ryder, that flip was lazy, and don't think I missed that stumble. Vanilla, keep that glitching under control or else you're out of the team. Harmony, use your strength when you throw Cordelia up." she looked directly at each girl as she scolded, "Can't even do the one thing you're on the team for right..." she muttered.
The girls lowered their heads, the happy aura that they contained falling with tension, all thanks to Audrey's harsh leadership as she continued pointing each girl's mistakes.
