Confusions Solved / Pillow

Sonic
We fly off together, and as I was able to see shadows house, I got more and more nervous. I even got a hiccup-

She sets me down and fly's up to the window and knocks. I stood there trying to calm me down before facing him. What if his explanation was horrible and i started crying again?! I can't just always cry. That's not heroic! Get yourself together, Sonic the hedgehog!

Shadow
Minutes of peace.

Knock on the window, I keep my eyes close >just a stick..< multiple knocks, „Oh my chaos" I mumble and get out of bed. I pull the curtains away, to my surprise it's rouge. She smiles at me. I open my window, „what?" I growl. „well hello darlin', sonic wants to talk to you." She says and backs up, pointing at Sonic standing there looking down. „Are you serious?" I hiss at rouge. „He asked me so nicely." She smiles „please just listen to him." I roll my eyes, „Bring him up, I don't wanna go down extra." I say. „fine.~" she slightly annoys, says. I go back to my bed and sit down. I rub my eyes to not look so exhausted in front of him.

Shoes Land on my floor and sonic whimpers, did he hurt himself as he fell? I look up and look sonic directly into his eyes. Rouge lets go off him, and she says „good bye, loves~" she winks and fly's off through my window. Sonic looked down, and I looked down at him. His leg was injured but with bandages over. „Does it hurt much?" I ask him and look at him, he still looks down „Kinda- I mean no." He says looking to the left. „What do you want then?" I hiss. He shivers, „your explanation.." he slowly says, >oh.< „It was to keep us hidden, I didn't want rouge to know it yet." I simply say. He rubbed his arm. Was he gonna cry again?

„Why s-shouldn't she of known?" He stutters „...am I not a g-good friend?" He slowly says. He was holding back tears. I sigh, „sonic." I look at him, but he refuses to look back. I stand up, walk over to him. „You're... A great friend. I couldn't wish for a better ...because your the best?" I say, trying to make him feel better. I put a hand on his muzzle,He keeps quiet. I'm trying my best, come on.. „you know that yourself, but as you see, I do not know how to comfort you." I say sighing.He nods slowly and leans in my hand and then out and looks at me directly. His eyes are sparkling as he sets up a soft smile.

Then, He fastly slings his arms around me . He hugs me tightly and sobs into my fur.

I remember something he did by cream- I put my hands on his back quills and pet them softly „there, there..." I say slowly and calmly. I know he did it on her head, but I can't do that right now, so that will and have to do it.

I continue the act for a bit still sonics sobs get less.

„it's okay." I say. „It's not your fault." „Not y-yours either .." he stutters and lightly chuckles. He frees himself, I let him go. He rubs his eyes and looks at me. „Thank you s-shadow" he sobs one last time. He hugs me again, is this a habit of his?

„Are you fine now?"I ask in his shoulder, as we hug I hold his waist. He gets goosebumps, „heh, your weak spot, isn't it?" I chuckle and put my hands on his back instead. „Y-yeah, for both." He stutters.

„Woah, didn't knew you two were this~ close." Rouge chuckles as she sits in my window frame.

„You can be quite annoying, you know rouge." Sonic chuckles and turns around to her. „Yeah." I say standing next to him, „I just wanted to check on you two, sonic you need to rest tho. Do you want to go to your house or stay here?" She smiles nicely. Eyeing his leg shortly.

He looks at me questioningly, „it's your decision, faker." I say calmly not to harsh even with that nickname I tried to calm it out. „Well, if you don't mind" he shrugs. „I'd stay here." He smiles at rouge. She nods and flies off immediately. „Do you have an extra bed?" He turns around, „no. I don't." He smiles sheepishly, well I can tell what he thinks about as he looks at my chest fur. „No." I clarify crossing my arms over my chest. „ You'll sleep here, in my bed and I'll sleep on the Couch." He frowns „you are injured, I think it's better for you to lay in a comfy bed than a small couch." I clarify. He looks at his leg and back at me, „I guess you're right but are you sure I can't?-„ „I'm not a pillow, hedgehog."

„Yeah, you're way better than a pillow could ever be."

My fur really is, but I can't allow to let my guard down again just because of him. I shake my head, „I'm going to sleep now. Alone." I hiss, he nods defeated.

I walk to my door and push the handle down, walking down the stairs to the couch.

The couch was very uncomfortable to lay on. My bed was no match for this old thing. For the fact there's only one used seat, which is used by me. I lay down on the seat with my head and legs over the lean, I put my hands behind my head and try to rest.

I watch shadow leave and close the door behind him, I was alone in his room.

Alone.

I look around to see nothing really special, just a cabinet next to his bed and a big closet on the other side. I don't wanna be a creep and go through his stuff so I look past all that stuff.

Walking with my leg was quite hurtful, so I tried to walk slowly as possible which is hard when you're the fasted hedgehog in the world.

I reach the crimson red bed frame and hold onto it, his bed was clean and not messy. The cover laid nicely done on the mattress and the pillow was neatly set. I hope my bandage won't loose up so I'd bleed everything full...

I'm sure I could enjoy my sleep on shadows bed, or catch a even better sleep on shadows personal pillow, I groan. Gosh I'm so embarrassing myself in my own thoughts.

I sit on the side of the bed and then I lay down. It was soft and comfy. Shadows scent was all over the bed tho, I take a sniff on the pillow, yep all over. Did I just actually did that- heck I did.

I pull the cover over Me and nuzzle myself in the pillow. I could hardly image that the pillow Is shadow in any way, but the scent made it easier. Soon enough it really felt like him.

I peacefully drift away to sleep.

Rouge
I fly off but I decided to check on them again, incase something happend. A bit later I fly back to them, shadow left his window open so I neatly sit down in the frame. I look over to his bed, shadow is laying there snoring softly. His back showing at me.

I guess sonic is laying on the couch, ass doesn't even lets the injured one sleep in the comfy bed. I get into his room and walk over to him, „huh?" I whisper, as I see a movement from the other side of shadow. I go around the bed and put my hand over my mouth „awww.." I mumble into my hand. Sonic was nuzzling into shadows fur, and shadow doesn't seems to be annoyed by it. Actually he was slightly grinning. Sonic was the one snoring and not shadow.

I might aswell go now before I wake em' lovers up... As I walk backwards shadow pulls sonic closer. I couldn't stop smiling, at them.

I go into the frame again and close the curtains, leaving the window open. I fly off.

Shadow
I couldn't catch a glimpse of sleep on this old crusty couch, the Thought of just joining sonic and getting a better sleep there grew more and more. After atleast 30 minutes I got sick of this couch and got up. I walked up the stairs and opened my rooms door quietly, sonic was snoring heavily. He fell asleep quite quick, I stand next to him and actually though about leaving again. I didn't wanted to wake him up, but the way he was snuggling the pillow, he enjoyed my bed and pillow alot.

Oh well. He would surely enjoy me more.
I wanna get a good sleep too, so I'm just gonna- I pull the cover up and sit down next to him. I lift his head up and lay down, I then place him on my fur. His snoring gets less and his purrs more as he leans onto me.

That's the very last time being a pillow for sonic the hedgehog. I swear to myself.

I grin and close my eyes to start resting.
