The Secret

part 15

Y/N's POV

The group's arrived at security in the airport... but someone's missing? "Who are we missing?" you ask George, who's leaning in to speak to Arthur Hill.

"Huh?" he mumbles to you, leaning the other way and Arthur looks at you.

"Who are we missing?"

AH: "Is someone not here?"

"Swear Alex isn't here, I can normally hear him."

G: "Oh yeah?! Where is he?"

Harry goes through security fine, so does Arthur TV but Theo gets stopped. What do you think for? Left his watch on? His metal hip...... that he doesn't have yet? No. It's because he's left ONE Euro in the pocket of his shorts. "Oh Theooo!" Chris says. The rest go through but yours and Arthur TV's bags get put to the other side for checking.

G: "Where's your bag?"

ATV: "Over there."

"It's definitely because of our Switches, innit?"

H: "Oh mine is in there too."

"Oh yeah, I've got two Switches. Fuck sake."

ATV: "Is the airport a Switch hate zone?"

"It might as well be."

H: "On the sign, it should be: 'no weapons, no fireworks and no Switches'."

G: "That's a shame, I took some fireworks, actually."

"For...?"

G: "Just for fun."

H: "You're not going to be like Josh and y/n in the Sidemen hotel video with just setting sparklers off, are you?"

G: "Maybe."

H: "Oh nooo!"

You manage to get your stuff back eventually and now it's the usual rush to put everything back into bags. Your phone screen lights up and it's a notification from Flo saying your period was due yesterday... great... You've got nothing and are away to get on a flight... Would Chloe or Alice have? You would feel more comfortable asking Chloe as you've known her longer so you sneak away from your spot, leaving your bag with George, and creep to the other side to see her. Cam's with her but he won't mind. "Chloe," you whisper.

"Aye?" she responds with, leaning back up from her bag.

"Have you got a pad on you? My period was due yesterday, it still hasn't come and I-I haven't got one on me."

"Aye, I'm sure a do. One sec." She rummages through her bag, scrambling to put everything back in but closes it and stands back up, leaning into you. "I'll go to the toilet with you and give you it then." She leans in to tell Cam something before taking your hand and walking away. The airport's quite busy so you keep close to each other and find the toilets. Fortunately, there's maybe one person in here so she gives you the pad and you go in. You hear the other door open, the sink and hand dryer turn on, then the door closing which indicates the woman's gone.

"She's gone," Chloe comments, "you alright?"

"I think so?" A wave of nausea hits you but you keep quiet. Regardless, you continue to put it on and open the door to wash your hands with Chloe standing next to the door on her phone. The nausea quickly passes but turns into cramps, but you walk back to the group.

*An hour later*

The gate is called and you're stood at it, waiting for the plane to line up, when you start to get a feeling down there. Surely it's that, right? But it also doesn't come on that suddenly... or at least it's never done in the years since it started. Fortunately you've got a pad on so either way you're okay and it won't be exposed.

The cramps and feeling play ping pong with each other with the nausea being the referee sometimes while you sit in your seat next to Chris. Fortunately, he's too busy taking pictures out the window to properly or even notice your situation. He's distracted until the attendance goes through the usual safety guide, and he jokingly pulls the tray table down when they say not to.

Eventually flight takes off and you have to entertain yourself for the two or three flight with the feelings... this will be fun.
