Jisung already knew where the elders apartment was but he didn't know how to knock on the others door like he didn't tell him that he kept strict boundaries between his students and his personal life.

He could play it casual and be like hey I left a key here can I have it back? But what if Minho took offense and is like I can't believe you're asking me for a key instead of apologizing to me.

Different scenarios played in his head until he got a text from Chan and he decided to face his fears and slowly knock on the door.

The door ended up swinging open and a man with his makeup smudged answered the door, "sorry I was on my way out."

Jisung jaw dropped as he watched a guy with red hair step out of Minho's apartment and he knocked harder on the door, "did you forget something?"

Minho's eyes widened and he scratched the back of his neck, "hey Jisung."

The blonde snorted, "it's Mr. Han and I'd like my key back."

The brunette chuckled, "my bad. I'll go get it, please come in."

Jisung shook his head, "just go get my key."

Minho playfully clutched his chest, "ouch." but he came back with a key in hand, "here you go."

The younger opened his hand and waited for Minho to drop the key in his palm but he furrowed his eyebrows when the older dangled the key in his face, "why should I give it back to you?"

Jisung sarcastically smiled, "because it's mine now give it back."

Minho held onto the key, "but I thought you didn't cross boundaries with your students? You made it clear that we should cut contact so I don't think it's appropriate to ask for this back- especially when you want to act like it never happened."

The blondes eye twitched, "just give me the key back."

The older shook his head, "no no no and I think it's time for you to leave." and he closed the door in Jisung's face.

The youngers anger grew and he pounded on the door again, "give me the key back! Right now!"

Minho opened the door, "and what do I get in return?"

Jisung scoffed, "a man literally leaves your apartment and now you're expecting something from me?! Right after I witnessed it?!"

The brunette snorted, "you're so petty it's hilarious. Plus you said we didn't have anything right after I kindly took you back to my apartment. Is that how you repay someone's generosity?"

The teacher sighed, "well what do you want in exchange for the key?"

Minho smiled, "go on a date with me."
