18. Ping Pong Panic

MK was at Sandy's boat learning tea recipes from him. Rin joined also but was relaxing at the chair next to Mo.
Rin: "Ah Mo~.... Such cute lazy cat. You ain't got trouble in the world do ya?"
MK: "Don't you have school?"
Rin: "My teach got sick so I got the day off."
That's when Sandy appeared yelling which made everyone jump.
Sandy: "Alright MK!"
Rin: "Jeez Sandy....!"
MK: "Yes Sandy?"
Sandy: "It's time to teach you the most important lesson of them all! Let's do it...."
The stove and tea supplies appeared outside.

MK: "Right."
Sandy: "Follow my instructions exactly. And you will get the best sleepy time tea ever had!"
MK: "Yeah!"
Sandy: "Step one: Get you're the fire burning into 171 degrees."
MK does what she's told and puts the cat like kettle on top of the stove.
Sandy: "Step two: And this is important and just a pinch of my sleepy time leaves."
MK adds a pinch of the sleepy time tea.
Sandy: "Step 3: Serve in your cutest and most favourite's teacup and enjoy. Thank my sweet niece."
He takes a sip of MK's tea.
MK: "So... how is it?"
Sandy: "Perfect!"
MK: "Really."
Sandy: "Yep."
Then Sandy turns to Rin.
Sandy: "Say Rin. How about you give it a try?"
Rin: "Why not, I'm gonna show ya how I can make it better."
But instead of following the same instructions. Rin made the fire too high, he then poured the ingredients fully, and carelessly pours at Sandy's teacup but cleans it up. MK began to feel worried as Sandy drinks Rin's tea.
Sandy: "Oh yeah.... You did add just a pinch right?"
But then Sandy collapsed on the ground and fell fast asleep.
MK: "Sandy!"
Rin: "Uh what's that Sandy?"
He didn't listen to what Sandy just mentioned and sees the big guy sleeping.
Rin: "Aww...! Big guy, you must have tuckered yourself out."
Rin placed Mo on top of Sandy.
MK: "No Rin, you didn't listen to Sandy's instructions! Instead of adding a pinch you added too much! Now we don't know when he'll wake up....!"
Rin: "Whoops! But hey... not to worry, we're gonna keep him safe. Nothing bads gonna happen. Not on my watch!"
Then they heard a sound from above and looked a up. A golden appears and drops something and disappears. MK and Rin looked to see a small wooden crate chained with a monkey lock.
Rin: "Hoho! A super special package from Monkey King! Oh this day just got a whole lot more interesting~..."
Rin snickered and winked MK making her blush. She knew what he was saying.
MK: "C-come on Rin...! It must be i-important! Nothing more...."
Rin: "Says you."
Rin takes a crowbar and tries to open.
MK: "Maybe there's a reason why it is chained up."
Rin: "Gotta...! Open...!"
Then a letter slapped on his face. MK pulls it out and reads it.
MK: "For MK?"
Rin: "Hey! That's you!"
MK rolls her eyes and reads the letter out loud.
MK: "Dear MK... as you know I'm super busy on vacation...?"
Rin: "Why does vacation have to be busy?"
MK: "I've gotta a special delivery but I won't be able to get to it for a while...? You must not open it not matter what. It's bad news..."
Rin: "Aw man.... Then why bring it here monkey man and not at your home!?"
MK: "But.... I have something special for you? I've sent you this training blindfold."
MK pulls out the golden blindfold.
MK: "You must wear this blindfold all day. Only when you truly learn to listen can you take it off."
Rin's eyes sparkled.
Rin: "Your next power!"
MK: "Um, Rin that's not-."
But Rin cuts her off and snatches the blindfold. He then ties it on her eyes.
MK: "Hey!"
Rin: "Super hearing! Haha!! Now you can hear everything!!"
MK: "Rin! Ugh! I feel like you should've wear this blindfold instead of me....!"
That's when they heard Mei's voice echo from afar.
Mei: "WHY!!!!"
Rin: "That sounded like someone in trouble!"
MK: "Sounded like Mei!?!"
Rin: "Then we better go help!"
MK: "-Ahem-!"
MK showed her situation, Rin gave a nervous laugh and summons his wind magic.
Rin: "Let's go!"
What he didn't know was that he accidently knocked the crate by force, opening the lid. Then... a small baby plant demon sprout came out.
