Chapter 2 - Homecoming

A dream sequence occurs as Benji goes from being born to his previous life events. The bones healing as the the bites take effect and helped repair what was injured internally. He sees his mother laughing and smiling with his dad holding him as infant with both parents doing skin to skin contact with their newborn baby. The scene then switches. Now, they're walking with him in the meadow. And he sees canine animals. A grey wolf, a husky and a fox. He also sees bat's and the skies around him go from grayish to a colorful blue hue. Lighting and thunder rip the sky in half as rain falls. A light shining on him as he is approached by the canines and a pack of wolves of different colors circling him as they witness him on 1 knee in his black wolf pelt hood and all black clothing stand up anew.

'Benji... Benji... it's time to wake up.'

It was a few hours since everything had transpired. The couples were in the living room waiting as The Chief was on the phone checking on things back at 'the land' and making sure the people are safe.

"He is awake now.", the Dr said as everyone's attention focused on two newly healed young pack mates.

"How do you feel you two?"

"Different, yet whole. Like...", the young man replied.

"...We've been born again.", finished the other youth.

Benji walked out very slowly and surveyed the room as he stood in the middle of the two youths, putting his hand on their shoulders, comforting them. They smiled as they closed their eyes in relief and calmed a bit more due to being tense about what was going on around them. They did not know what the future held for them in their new found state.

"How are you feeling Benjamin?"

"Yes, how are you feeling son?"

"The two beside me answered for me. To add to that, alive."

He looked at his hand and them. The redhead female looked him over. Then she looked at the doctor and Chief.

"I hope this doesn't breech our treaty?"

"No. But what remains to be seen is how the 3 respond to being around normal beings?"

The chief had the 3 stay with the doctor as he went back to their home to brief the elders and the gaurdians of what all had happened.

"This could be a potential threat in the future.", one of the elders said.

"But we trust your judgements chief." the other elder said, finishing the statement.

The 3 were taught how to hone their senses and abilities. They hunted animals that were on the farm and grew accustomed to the blood of the animal. They still ate twice as much normal food and functioned as if they were normal humans. Their wolf side was however was amplified.

"Benji come with me.", his father said as they talked.

"Dad I have a question?"
