Daniel was physically, mentally, and emotionally preparing himself for today's meeting. He recognized how important it was to control all aspects of one's self during negotiations after almost going berserk due to the provocation of DG Entertainment's officials last time around. He realized any mishap, big or small, would greatly affect the chances of permanently reuniting Wanna One with all eleven members present.

All his zen, however, was shattered when Taeyeop entered his office.

"Daniel-daepyonim, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Pledis Entertainment canceled the meeting for today," Taeyeop's tone was urgent.

"Why? What happened?" Daniel abruptly entered into a state of panic.

Noticing the distress on their CEO, Taeyeop changed the tone of the conversation, "Calm down, daepyonim. We did not do anything wrong."

"So, why did they cancel the meeting?" Daniel, while significantly calmer, can't help but feel a bit anxious since the reunion was on the line.

"Pledis had to attend an emergency meeting in Hybe's main building regarding Seventeen's next comeback," Taeyeop explained. "As an apology, they offered we should meet at Hybe's Headquarters tomorrow afternoon instead. They already organized everything in our stead."

"AT Hybe's Headquarters? Tomorrow?" Daniel was surprised to have the current largest K-Pop entertainment agency be involved in the process.

"Yes, sir."

"Have you checked my schedule for that?" Daniel was concerned.

"Fortunately, the only overlapping schedule is your meeting with me, Saeron-ssi, and Chinjeol-ssi regarding the response of Fantagio, Maroo, and DG regarding the proposed 15-25-60 profit distribution," Taeyeop answered. "To make way for the Pledis meeting, that meeting is moved instead."

"Ok. That's good. That sounds nice," Daniel dropped down to the nearest seating.

"Do you want us to join you in that meeting? You seem to be intimidated when I mentioned Hybe," Taeyeop inquired.

"That would be helpful just in case Pledis chose to include Hybe officials in the meeting," Daniel confessed.

"All right. I'll inform the others about this development," Taeyeop understood and exited the office.

"Why must this happen now?" Daniel massaged his temples due to stress.

It was an unexpected turn of events but Daniel remained optimistic that everything was going to be alright.

The next day, Daniel was anxious on their way to Hybe HQ. Putting things into perspective, this meeting would decide the participation of Minhyun, Wanna One's lead vocalist and resident group secretary-slash-manager. Minhyun was just as important a piece of the Wanna One puzzle as the rest of the members.

His three companions tried to soothe his nerves as soon as they were allowed to park at the visitors' parking space.

"Calm down, daepyonim. If you'll ask me, I don't think Pledis will involve Hybe officials in this meeting. They are, after all, still an independent label despite being a subsidiary," Chinjeol tried to reassure Daniel.
