As weird as your new situation was, there wasn't much you could do besides figure it out and deal with it. Sure, things would've been far easier if the brothers had been the ones that swapped, or you and Dean even, but it wasn't like you had a choice and if you had, it would've been not swapping at all.
With Dean's help, you and Sam had eventually gotten dressed and managed a trip to the bathroom each, albeit awkwardly, and you all agreed to never speak of it again. Once things were back to normal that was.
The mystery still remained as to why it had happened but you were all certain it had something to do with Nemesis and the case. You just needed to figure out what she had done and how to reverse it. So after Dean had left and returned with breakfast, because he wasn't letting either of you leave the motel room at that point, the three of you sat down at the table, coffee and doughnuts in front of you brainstorming what the fuck had happened.
You'd given up considering your body as yours some thirty minutes ago, and tried to remember that the person before you, who looked like you was just Sam. The two of you were just souls possessing meat suits. Yeah. Meatsuits. Except, that wasn't right...
"Wait!" you cried out suddenly. Making both men jump. Wow. Your voice was louder than you thought. "How is this even possible?"
"That's what we're trying to find out, Sam-weetheart..." Dean cleared his throat, looking at you strangely.
You sighed in frustration. "I know... That's, not what I meant... I mean, my scars! The protection spell! Why didn't it, y'know, stop this from happening? It's supposed to stop my body being used as a vessel right?"
"Well yeah, but it's not like I'm a demon or an angel..." Sam attempted to reason but he must've realised you were onto something because he then suggested, "you know, maybe we should call Cass? See what he has to say?"
"On it," Dean replied. And pulled his phone out to dial.
He placed the call on speaker for you all to hear the angel and when the click was heard, signalling the line had been picked up, Cass' gruff voice answered. "Hello Dean."
And Dean called out "Cass!" in return. "We've uh, run into some trouble on this hunt. What do you know about a chick named Nemesis?"
"... Nemesis..." Cass replied absentmindedly.
There was another sound in the background that confused you and Dean's face grew agitated because of it. "Whatever it is you're watching, turn it off! This is important!"
A muffled word or two were followed by sounds of shuffling and crackling for a few seconds before you heard Cass speak again. "I apologise... You have my full attention now. You were saying something about Nemesis?"
"Yeah Cass! Nemesis!" Sam huffed. "She's a..."
"Greek Goddess." Cass interrupted him.
"Yeah... You, you know her?"
You listened to the phone with bated breath. Sam and Dean seemed to be doing the same. But when Cass answered Sam's latest question, the air in the room grew heavy. "I'm afraid I only know her by name... Why? Have you met her? Is she responsible for the murders in Marshall?"
"Yeah," Dean answered still agitated from a few moments ago. "She's the one ganking everybody here... We thought we had her last night, but she got away and we've run into a bit of a technical issue... We were hoping you might be able to shed some light on it..."
"Well as you humans say, I'm all ears," Cass stated, still unaware of your current predicament.
The three of you exchanged glances, before Sam stepped up, informing the angel what had happened. "Cass, me and Glowworm have, swapped bodies..." His words sounded really weird and Cass seemed to pick up on that.
