July 2015

By talking to Vanessa, you and Dean were able to make a fairly strong punt on who was going to be the next victim on Nemesis' death train. George had a friend named Colin Petersen, who he had known since their school days. They had had lunch at the same restaurant everyone else had been linked to two days prior, but the piece de resistance, was that he had recently won a rather large prize on a scratchie, which George had been undoubtably envious of.

Who wouldn't?

Colin and his wife, as most people generally did had taken advantage of their prize. They'd both quit their jobs, taken a holiday, started major house renovations, added a pool, bought a new car, motorbike and some season tickets of some-kind-or-other, to a sports team you'd never heard of. When Dean's eyes had lit up on the mention of the team name, you knew it must've been a good thing.

You were both back in Baby now and Dean had just pulled up to the only space left on the street near the Petersen's house "There's just one thing I don't get," he said as he cut the ignition. "The pattern here is obviously jealousy. I mean we're dealing with Nemesis and every one of these bozo's seemed to want something the other had. But you two don't fit that pattern..."

You "hmmed" as you surveyed the utes, trucks, skips and everything else in between that lined the already narrow street. It was a wonder Dean had found a wide enough gap to park the Impala in, in the first place. "We don't even know if what happened to me and Sam is the same as what's been happening to these people. It could be something entirely different," you suggested as your gut twisted and turned deep down below. No, no, there had to be another explanation.

"It's happening in two's sweetheart. My best guess. If you and Sam aren't yourselves, then Colin ain't Colin!"

"What! You think they swapped too? What makes you so sure?"

"Intuition," Dean said over the creak of the drivers door. "And my girlfriend staring at me through my brother's face..."

You could see the funny side in that and you chuckled lightly as you stepped out of the car to join him. "Yeah... At least when I look at you I know I'm looking at you. This must be a clusterfuck."

"Damn right it is!" he raised his voice just enough so you could hear as you moved around the front of the car to join him. "You know I woke up this morning, thinking I was still spooning you and found out the hard way it wasn't..."

You were side by side now and you began to cross over to the other side of the street together where the Petersen residence was. "You said you almost did something this morning and Sam didn't seem too happy about it... What the hell happened?"

Dean glanced between you and the parked cars a couple of times. "I just did what I usually would..." he said with a smirk. "Kissed you a couple of times. Ran my hand over you. I was going in for a feel..."

Going for a feel... Boobs or elsewhere you wondered and asked aloud, "where?" It sure would've been nice to wake up to him touching you in any place. Anything but what had happened this morning would've been better.

"Huh?"

"Where was your hand when Sam woke up?"

" You might wanna be careful with them dirty thoughts..." You didn't need to look at him to know he was smirking at you still. The jibe was clear in his voice and through it he finally admitted, "my hand was up top. But I was planning to go lower..."

So much for not thinking dirty thoughts...

"Those snores that were coming from Sammy's mouth. They were loud enough to cover any noises your would've made..."
