"You must be Sergeant Persson!" Captain Price calls as I walk toward the two large men at the edge of the airstrip. The helicopter blades whirl vigorously behind me, not waiting long before taking off to its next destination.

The large duffle bag in my hand drops to the ground as I finally make it before my new captain. I pull the bandana off of the bottom half of my face before smiling at him warmly. My hand comes up to meet his.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Captain," I address him. He shakes my hand firmly. A mess of mostly-kempt mustache hairs curls over a tight-lipped smile he shoots my way.

My eyes drift to my right, however, where the other man stands just behind Captain Price.

"Sergeant Persson, this is Lieutenant Riley, or Ghost as we call him," Price introduces the large man. He stands quite tall and clears his throat before giving me one single head nod in acknowledgement. He stands still as a statue. It's hard to read his body language beneath the hard skull mask shrouding his face. His eyes shine a warm caramel brown color, however.

I smile at my new lieutenant, unsure of how to respond to him. He shifts in his stance before Price speaks up again.

"Let's get inside. It's too cold for introductions out here," he chuckles softly. He turns and begins walking toward the large building behind him, looking back briefly to make sure I'm following.

Before I get the chance, Ghost picks up my duffle bag from the ground and starts following the Captain. I grip the straps on my backpack tightly, now with nothing to occupy my hands with. I follow them both.

Price opens the large double doors of the building with a keycard he keeps in his vest pocket. We follow him through the first door, then through a second layer of doors before we're in the large atrium of the building. The ceilings are very high, and there are hallways leading in 4 different directions. Every hallway has a label to where it leads. The second floor looks down on the atrium, glass railings guarding the edge.

"Welcome to the 141 base, Sergeant," Price announces. "Follow me this way. We'll go over some things in my office first, then Ghost will show you around the base." He turns and walks to the leftmost hallway, labeled Business. You and Ghost follow Price, Ghost still gripping onto your duffle bag tightly, as if it weighs nothing.

The walls are a stark yellowish beige color, and the hallway is littered with doors, each with a placard displaying what its use is. Most say random things like Copier or Files, but some are inscribed with the various names of people. Once we reach the end of this hallway, it forks to the right. We stop at a door that says Captain Price on it.

Price swipes his card on the doorknob and it clicks. He opens the door and holds an arm out, welcoming me inside. The office is larger than it seems it would be, decorated with pictures and news articles on the walls depicting Price throughout his years in military service.

"Take a seat, Sergeant," he gestures toward one of the two cushioned seats that sits in front of his large wooden desk covered in piles and piles of papers.

I do as he says and take a seat, setting my backpack down next to me on the ground. The door behind me clicks shut, with Ghost standing just in front of it. He looks straight ahead, no readable expression in his eyes or body.

Price groans as his takes his seat before me, "Alrighty. So, we have a few things to go over before I release you for the day. First thing's first; are you aware of the expectations of you in regards to your deployment with us for the next 12 months?"

"I believe so. I am aware some things were kept confidential before I got here to ensure safety, but I am aware that I will be with 141 for 12 months, fulfilling a need for a stealth specialist."
