"You c-cant bring me to s-sector 12". 7t39 concluded.
Amber shook his head. "But, I'm willing to give you a shuttle. You can head over to Cygre, get the information you need, than hang tight. I'll get in touch with my friends, and they'll pick you up".
There was this look on 7t39's face, and Amber wasn't quit sure if it was gratitude or admiration.
"T-thankyou".

Meanwhile
Somewhere?
"Amber's friends"
The stars were alluding on this side of the galaxy. For miles and miles black velvet stretched, and nebulas pulsated. It was peaceful, yet haunting. No planets. Only a huge alien ship floated starboard of the smaller Jibok.
It was made of Dy'ak metal, debris, and chunks of living morsel. In a sinister light, the ship seemed to breath.
This was the Lexuis-T9b. A floating trafficker lab.
The very target of the Jibok crew. They were to infiltrate the ship and rescue the children aboard it.
"9 minutes". Skyler announced over the coms.
"Eight minutes, actually". A voice called up from the lower decks. This was Kéle. Copilot, and best friend of Skyler.
"7 minutes".
"What is the plan?" A new voice interjected from the rafts.
"We never came up with one". Kéle responded.
"We get in. We find the children. We blast our way out". Skyler informed.
"That is not a plan".
"Unless you have a better idea Heritage than we're going with this".
"Can we not go a single week without causing destruction?" She asked begrudgingly.
"Your a gunslinger Heritage. It's kinda what you do". Kéle said.
She did not respond after that.
"Where is Granger and Jorhay?" Skyler asked. "They should be on the coms".
"Their playing uno in the pit". Heritage grumbled.
"I swear if those two-"
Skyler didn't get to finish that sentence.
The intercom made a soft beep before a clipped voice came on. "I have the weapons ready and waiting boss".
"Thanks Jorhay".
"Five minutes until impact". Kéle warned.
"How about we take a vacation after this guys?" Skyler asked. He was rather fond of the idea. A week long visit to the Cygre port, gambling away their earned income, sounded perfect.
"No". Heritage deadpanned. "We have a contract in play".
"I'm sure the Corpthror won't mind". Jorhay interjected.
"Oh they'll mind".
"Two minutes guys". Kéle interrupted.
"We could set you up with a nice alien Goni on Cygre". Jorhay went on. "You deserve a partner Heritage".
"I don't do partners". Her voice sneered over the coms. "They waist my time".
"I'm just saying-"
"Brace for impact".
