Lizzie's Perspective

The journey to Mulholland Overlook was pretty chill. I thought I might feel uncomfortable on the bike, but Y/N's confidence in driving it made me feel safe and relaxed. It took us about 20 minutes to get there, and the view on the way to the overlook was incredible. The sun was slowly setting on the horizon, and the cool breeze was caressing our faces as we ascended the winding Mulholland Drive.

Once we reached the top, we parked the bike and found a spot to sit. The natural beauty of the place and its laid-back vibe instantly made us feel comfortable, far away from the city's hustle and bustle.

We spent a few minutes in silence, soaking in the panoramic view of the city gradually lighting up with streetlights and buildings. As the sun bid farewell on the horizon, the sky painted itself in warm hues. You could even catch a glimmer of the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. It was a magical landscape, truly worth admiring.

At that moment, Y/N pulled her camera out of her backpack, the same one she had used the other afternoon at the beach. I loved watching her capture this spectacle; it was becoming one of my favorite things to do with her. The sparkle in her eyes as she did what she loved made me feel fortunate to witness her lost in her world. When she turned her head to look at me, I realized she had caught me gazing at her intensely, and with flushed cheeks, I smiled, trying to hide my embarrassment.

"What do you think of the view?" she asked. I was grateful she didn't make any comments about my intense stare.

"It's absolutely beautiful. I've never been here in the evening. The sunset colors with the city lights make everything feel magical," I said, truly amazed by the place.

"I'm glad. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy the silence when I need to clear my mind. Apart from the beach, of course," she confessed.

Just as we shared a cup of tea at one of my favorite places, now I had the chance to share one of her favorite spots, which made me feel special. "Thanks for sharing your secret spot with me. I guess enjoying sunsets is our thing now."

"You're right; it's our thing now. I wanted to have a quiet moment with you before we dive into the stress of filming," she said, with that smile that made me want to get to know her even more.

That warmed my heart because I knew we both considered each other important. We gazed at one another in silence, both of us smiling, enjoying each other's company and the silence of the hills. Breaking the silence, Y/N said, "I think it's time to hit you with some 'police questions,' with an almost wicked smile."

"Oh no, I thought I had more time to prepare," I joked.

"Well, I'll give you another 10 seconds," she continued my joke.

We both laughed so hard that she couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Let's get this started," I said, looking at her attentively.

Placing her fingers on her chin and looking up, she thought for a few seconds before speaking. "If you weren't an actress, what do you think you'd be doing?"
