The long lost siblings

Chapter ten

"So Charlotte, you want to explain last night?" 

I physically shivered under Zach's cold gaze subconsciously moving closer to Liam.

"I'm sorry I just needed to get away it won't happen again"

"Damn right it won't"  Luke mumbled under his breath.

"Punishments will be put in place  Charlotte, you may not just run off whenever you feel like it. If you have a problem with anything you come to me. Is that clear?"

I nodded my head "Clear" I whispered.

He nodded and everything went back to normal. 

Weird.

You'd think that for someone who so concerned about my safety they'd do a little more to make sure it doesn't happen again.

But whatever I'm not complaining.

"Eat your breakfast then meet us in my office." The three eldest one walked away with Zach leading them. 

The second they left Liam moved away from me, to sit at the island. 

I sat down a few seats away from him as a packet of blueberry yogurt was slip to me by Matthew. I smiled at him as a thank you and we ate in silence.

"So you really snuck out?" Matthew asked grinning, till Liam glares made him stop. I just nodded having a little smile on my face as well.

"It's not a good thing Matthew." Liam spat out. 

"Kinda is, no one can ever sneak out of here, there's way too many gua-" he got cut off by Wyatt, who just walked in, clearing his throat loudly. 

"And Liam's right Charlotte, you really shouldn't sneak out." He added looking at me.

I nodded and swirled my spoon around my yogurt, not feeling very hungry.

"Come on I'll take you to Zach's office." Matthew said glancing at my uneaten yogurt.

I nodded and walked away with him, feeling glares in the back of my head.

"Don't worry about it, the triplets try to sneak out all the time and the worst they get is a slap on the wrist." He said lightly 

Images immediately filled my head of my stepfather whipping my back, as my mom stood smirking in the corner. 

Liam's screams still haunt me daily. I remember what she said to me one day, "You're the reason I'm not happy anymore bitch" she kicked me when she saw the tears in my eyes "stop being such a pussy you little brat."

"Charlotte!" Matthew yelled shaking my shoulders. 

"You okay?" He asked, his eyes filling with realization. I nodded and continued walking, eventually being followed by Matthew.

"It's just a phrase Char, they wouldn't ever hurt you." I nodded again, of course of could I be so stupid. 

We arrived in front of the room I've been in way too many times for just recently coming here. 

I knocked on the door lightly and heard a mumbled come in. Matthew nudged me towards the door and whispered "I'll be out here when you're done, good luck!" 

I gulped at his words and walked in.

Hey guys, I know how short this chapter is, but I promise I'm going to try updating this one at lot more than I do now!!

I'm currently writing four books, three of them are published, and I'm only publishing a chapter weekly for one of them.

The one I write in most is called 'The forgotten sister' and I'll update a lot more in that book if that's what you're looking for. 

I'm going to be trying to update that one on weekends and this one on weekdays, but my last book will be on hold till I'm done with these two.
