Dracula's son Sebastian appears to have no desire to kill people and does not appear to consume human blood at all. He would therefore consume animal blood, making him weaker than his father who drinks human blood. Sebastian meets Renfield one day, and the two become his first friends in a very long time. The two get to the point where they are starting to get close and fall in love, but they are unsure of how to tell each other.

Renfield was just an ordinary real estate attorney hoping to close a deal that would alter the course of his and his family's lives forever. He starts working as Dracula's assistant he started to go to the theater and other exotic locations with him and his son Sebastian. After Dracula made Renfield his familiar at that point, Sebastian and Renfield began to spend more time with Sebastian, and he began to develop feelings for Sebastian.

Rebecca is an aggressive traffic cop working for the New Orleans Police Department who eventually meets Renfield and Sebastian. Rebecca and Jesse were friends prior to Jesse falling in love with Tedward Lobo, the mobster the two were attempting to apprehend. Rebecca learned that Jesse and Tedward had grown close, and the two got into a fight until Jesse delivered the knockout blow. Rebecca never saw Jesse again after Jesse turned in her badge the following day.

Jesse left her abusive father behind in order to start over in New Orleans. She makes friends with Rebecca Quincy after enlisting in the police force. The two girls cherished spending time together, telling jokes and exchanging stories. When Jesse meets Tedward Lobo, everything changes. Tedward was a mobster, and Jesse was prepared to take him in, but something about him prevented her from doing so. As Jesse spends time with Teddy, she discovers that despite Teddy's insistence that he has shot people in the past, he puts on a front of toughness, yields quickly under pressure, and is hesitant to get his hands dirty. Teddy asks Jesse if she wants to go to a pub with him one day for some drinks, and she accepts. That evening, the two enjoyed themselves; Jesse enjoyed her time with him, drinking, and he would tell her stories, Teddy even dance with her. Teddy kisses her on the way home from her house later that night, and they begin to see each other more frequently after that.

Tedward, usually known as Teddy, is the son of Bellafrancesca and a mob enforcer. Teddy has an extremely carefree demeanor and is constantly trying to make jokes, even in the most uncomfortable situations. Teddy meets Jesse Rivera one evening and immediately grows fond of her. Occasionally, he would visit her apartment to spend time with her. Teddy can't resist going to see her whenever he gets the chance, even though he knows she was a police officer. The two went out to a pub one evening, shared drinks, and even got on the dance floor. And when Teddy drops Jesse at her apartment, Jesse says goodbye to Teddy before she can get out of his car, Teddy snatches her and gives Jesse a long, passionate kiss.
