'What are you being so quiet for?' He squeezed my thigh gently as he was driving us to his place

My mind kept repeating earlier events, and I can't stop thinking about why he doesn't want me. It's baffling my mind, but it's also kind of breaking my heart. He is absolutely perfect with everything else, but when it comes to this, he won't come close. It's like I've got some desease.

'Baby, please. What's going on?' He pushes again after I haven't said a thing

'Nothing. I'm just tired.' I lie, keeping my eyes on the window. I don't want him to see the tears in my eyes

He just sighed silently, removing his hand from my thigh, which only hurt more. I had to shut my eyes to keep the tears in from spilling. I used my hair as a curtain of sorts, letting it hide my face.

He didn't ask anything else until he stopped driving, pulling in into a driveway. Only then I kind of moved, my mind taken over by the sight. I looked through the window at the house in front until my doors opened up, startling me.

Jimin was already out and even opened my door, offering me his hand to come out of the car.  'Come on, baby. It's cold outside.'

I placed my hand in his and got out, taking in the full view of the place.

It's one of those modern houses, with windows from top to bottom. The structure itself is minimalistic but gorgeous, with a balcony stretching over the entire top floor. But then I looked a bit better and noticed another car parked next to his.

'What is it?' He asked when I stopped walking with him

'Is there someone else living here? I don't wanna impose on anyone, Jimin.'

'I live alone, and even if I wasn't, they'd have to deal with it.' He smiles

'Are you sure?' I glance at the other car, a much fancier one. I didn't even notice until now, but it's a Ferrari.

'Yeah, uh, that's... that's mine.' He scratched the back of his neck, looking a bit embarrassed. 'I just didn't feel like driving it to school, so I got this one.' He seemed almost uncomfortable

'Oh.' That explains why he wasn't in the slightest bothered by the prices in that restaurant he took me to. I thought I had money, but it seems he won that battle. But then again, I don't care about his money. I don't want an ATM. I want a man who will care for me and love me. I can make my own money.

'Welcome home, beautiful.' He smiled as he opened the door, letting me in first

After seeing the house, I expected it to be fancy inside as well, and I was right. It was all modern but also cosy. There was a blanket hanging off the sofa with a laptop opened on it as well. A mug with unfinished coffee that is definitely stone cold by now, and a few bottles of protein shakes. A few shirts hanging over the back of the sofa, looking like he's drying them or something.

'Sorry, it's an absolute mess. I'm a bit of a pig. Or at least that's what my mom always says.'

That one made me chuckle. 'I don't know why you're apologizing. It's just a bit of clothes. I don't care.'

He only smiled and pulled me along, giving me a quick tour of the place.

'... and here is the bathroom. If you wanna shower, take a bath, whatever, go for it. There's are towels under the sink and about a million shower gels and shampoos all over the place. Just take whatever you want.'

'Okay.' I hummed, nodding in agreement

'Okay.' He repeated, kissing me on the temple. 'I'll go make some dinner. Anything you're in the mood for?'
