My only problem is you, baby.

His words kept repeating in my mind over and over.

It's not that he said it. Hell, it's not even the way he said it. It's the fact that I know how true that is. I am nothing but trouble for him. All he's been doing is taking care of me despite the dumb, dangerous decisions I bring. He's been here for me even when I didn't want him to, taking the blame for the things I did, and I can't even tell him the truth.

'Are you ready?'

His voice brought me out of my swirl of thoughts and guilt, and I practically jumped up from the bed to look at him.

Since that all happened earlier in the afternoon, I couldn't bring myself to act normally no matter how much I tried. And he noticed it right away but tried to act normally himself.

'Come on. We have to go.'

We had to wait for the snow to subdue before heading to the police station. I almost forgot about it completely since last night, but he hadn't.

Getting inside the car was like sitting in a fridge. It was freezing, and even being out for all of 20 seconds, we were both breathing out cold air, creating little fogs with our breath.

He hurriedly turned on the heating and then took my hands in his, rubbing them and warming them up even though his were freezing.

'It's - it's okay.' I pulled my hands away slowly, trying to keep a bit of distance from him

He sighed quietly and put on his seatbelt, then started driving, slowly pulling out of his driveway.

Not a word had been said until we got down to the station, and then he walked back to his trunk and pulled out the box with the scarf. He kept it.

'You're gonna need this.' He offered me the box, and I took it reluctantly

The station was half empty, a few people working at their desks, but a lot of them empty. Those who were in were all holding cups in their hands, warming themselves up in this cold. They could bring the heating up a bit. I feel sorry for them.

I was still looking around a little as I've never been to the police station before, and then got lightly pulled by Jimin. Seems he was already on the task, talking to a man at the reception.

'We need to go there.' He gestured to a little hallway that led to private offices.

He knocked on one of the doors and walked in as we got an okay from the inside, and were met with a man maybe a few years older than us. He was really young, his uniform neatly hugging his tall figure as he got up to bow.

'Welcome.' He smiled fondly. 'Please, take a seat.'

We both bowed and sat down as intructed. I placed the box on my knees, almost scratching into the surface out of nerves.

'First things first. Names and what can I help you with today?'

'Jimin Park, sir.' Jimin bowed his head

'Yowun Kang.' I introduce myself

'And what brings you into our station in this cold weather?' He gives another fond smile

I didn't look at him, but I felt Jimin burning a hole in the side of my face with his eyes, waiting for me to start talking.

No easy way to break it.

'I am being stalked.'

The officer didn't seem in the slightest shocked or showed any emotion. He simply nodded, gesturing for me to start explaining.
