                                                                                Chapter One

Pomni woke up to see Jax's face, which was naturally the worst way to wake up. "Why are you in my room- actually, on second thought, why am I not in my room?" She was definitely not in her room- unless her room was a colorful hallway and her bed was a table with wheels. "And, um, what are you doing?" She, upon further inspection, was strapped to a table. Was it just her, or did Jax look... Nervous? "It's a short and confusing story. I sent Dollface to get Caine. He's the one who should make the call on this." If it was so bad Jax had to admit he needed Caine to solve it, it was BAD. "What is it? What does it have to do with me?"

"If you really wanna know, new stuff, I'm going to start with the part you need to know most about. You abstracted." Pomni blinked.

"Very funny, but I'm not buying it."

Jax smiled and said, "Not joking. Ragatha can tell you. So anyway, I miiight have snuck into your room to play a HARMLESS joke on you, and Dollface came along because she was lecturing me on how I 'Shouldn't have keys to ANYONE'S room, especially because-' Yadda yadda yadda. You get the picture. Anywho, my joke was ruined because you were in there, sleeping, although your face alone is a joke of its own- By the way, you sleep weird." Pomni interrupted.

"In my defense, I was physically and mentally exhausted from a day of intense weirdness."

Jax snorted. "Whatever you say, Sleeping Ugly. Where was I? Right, okay. So I was about to back out when you glitched, so naturally I stayed because I love knowing things I'm not supposed to- I mean, I was CONCERNED for your safety."

Pomni snickered. "Yeah, right."

Jax rolled his eyes. "So then you exploded." Pomni blinked.

"Yeah, okay, this joke's gone on long enough." Jax didn't respond, but that was enough of an answer for her. "Iiiiit's not a joke, is it?" Jax shook his head.

"It was like a wave of black glitchiness, like how Kaufmo looked, but an explosion. Where you were sleeping, this little three-headed glitchy black lab puppy with eyes all over was instead. It was so cute I wasn't even scared. I sent Ragatha to get Caine before she saw the Abstraction, though."

Pomni sighed. "Typical. So Kaufmo gets the scary eyeball monster, but I get baby Cerberus?"

Jax grinned. "Yep. Suits you. So anyway, the Abstraction played around for a bit before exploding and turning back into plain old ugly you. So I found this table, and here we are." Pomni tried to wrap her head around that.

"That's weird." Was all she could think to say. "If Kaufmo controlled his Abstraction, could I control mine? Didn't you say it seemed pretty harmless?"

Jax reluctantly nodded. "Yeah, I doubt that pathetic thing could hurt anyone."

Just as they reached the center of the Tent, Ragatha appeared. She was visibly relieved to find Pomni all right. "I'm so glad you're ok! Jax, did you tell her?"

"Yes," Jax replied. "And since I'll have to tell you and Caine what happened after you left." Ragatha cocked her head. "What happened?"

Then Caine appeared. "Well, well, well, what seems to be the problem?"

Jax told him the one sentence he knew would make him freak out. "Pomni abstracted." Caine nearly glitched out.

"What? That's- it's never happened that quick!" Jax smiled sinisterly.

Jax stepped aside, revealing Pomni, who felt very vulnerable strapped down to a table in front of three random strangers. At least the others weren't here; they were all asleep. "But she's right there!" Caine exclaimed.

"Hi," Pomni squeaked out. "I'd better explain before the new stuff over here freaks out." Jax smugly smiled. "Hey-" Pomni started, but Jax shushed her.

"Be QUIET, I'm trying to talk." Pomni fell silent, seething. Jax explained what happened in a VERY ANNOYING WAY, but then again, whatever Jax did, it was annoying.

Caine was silent for a long time. Pomni almost wondered if he'd glitched when he announced, "Well, no sense tying her down if she's not Abstracted!" The ropes that held Pomni disappeared. She sat up, rubbing her head. "Is there some way I can fix this?" She asked.

"Not that I'm aware of," Caine answered. "And of those few things that I'm not, none of them are good." He added in a creepy whisper.

"Ooookay." Pomni said slowly. "If that's all, I'm going back to bed." She hopped off the table and walked back down the hall to her room.

                                                                                         Chapter Two

When Pomni woke up again, it was about eight in the morning. She yawned, noticing that she had three heads. Wait, what?! She looked down, surprised to see that she had red and orange eyes all over, had three heads, and devil horns on each head. On top of that was the fact that according to what Jax said, she was at least three times bigger, and was about the size of a bear. Also, she was ABSTRACT! She started to panic. Then someone knocked on her door. "Hey, Pomni, wake up! We're going to do another activity!" Pomni sighed, surprised to find she still could.

She lashed her tail- her what? She looked around to find a four-foot-long tail with a snake's head on the end. She jumped down and cautiously replied, "Yeah, I'm coming, Ragatha. Give me a sec." She used her tail to open the door. What she didn't expect was that Ragatha was still there. "I thought you'd have gone to the stage by now!" Pomni said. Ragatha stood very still.

"Pomni? Is that you?" She asked slowly.

"Yes, it's me. I can't control when I change, and I guessed I'd have to show the others some time, so why not now?"

"This is both very cool and very terrifying." Ragatha straightened, beaming.

"Ok, maybe the others won't totally freak out." Just then, Pomni exploded but strangely felt nothing. When she could see again, she was back to her not-so-normal self. "Okay, that's better." She sighed. "Ragatha, you good?" Ragatha had fainted. Pomni shook her awake. "We gotta go. We don't want to be late."

"Wh-what? Oh, you're back to normal. Well... Let's go!" Pomni was glad to see Ragatha still being positive.
