I finished retelling the operation it wasn't as significant in my eyes but to others it was the turning point of the war... but they hardly understand that the next operation was the true turning point in the war.
"If I'm correct you and your partner successfully assisted with the recapturing of the canal?" Enikk asked "Not just me and my buddy, it was all those pilots that did their best to get our boys down on the ground. You should be thanking them..." Pixy said with a cold tone as everyone understood what I meant with that comment "I see is that all for that operation?" Enikk questioned the ex-mercenary pilot "I don't have any witty comments for you, sorry" Pixy apologized sarcastically "Very well let's continue on"
"With all the previous prep operations completed it was our turn to liberate Directus from the Belkans..."
"Preparations to liberate Directus are now complete. I will now brief you on the Ark 6th Air Division's role in regaining control of the capital. Directus is divided into five administrative wards centering on the River Crescere. Powerful weapons have been placed in each ward, comprising the Belkan Army's Ustio-branch headquarters. This battle will determinate our fate, as the annihilation of all enemy forces will mean the liberation of Ustio. The enemy forces are primarily comprised of ground troops, but we have received information that, while not yet confirmed, there is also a squadron of hi-tech enemy mobile suits. Your orders are to destroy the Belkan forces and liberate Directus. We can't afford to lose." The Briefing Officer said as everyone understood what this meant, while being in between a war with the Raptures and Ourselves this is the biggest chance we have to turn one war in our favor

"Cipher, let's do this right. I know you've got what it takes." I say as Cipher's Mobile Suit raised there hand and gave me a thumbs up as I nod "A lot of us were born here, you know." A Ark squadron member said as he gazed down
"Galm 1, engage." AWACS Eagle Eye gave clearance to engage and without hesitation she blasted downwards firing missiles and destroying Belkan ground targets "The tide should turn once they get their capital city back." Pixy says as he followed up destroying ground targets before flying back into position as Belkan Mobile Suits which only consisted of Zaku's took off and began to intercept our attack
I flew weave right through their attacks shooting them down one at a time "Crash where I can't see" I say as an explosion goes off behind me and I notice Cipher blasting them out of the sky effortlessly "That's my buddy" I say to myself with a smirk as I intercept Belkan radio chatter
"Abandon Area 2! Reposition the battlefront immediately! Aren't there any orders from the higher-up? Where's the General? Hasn't anyone seen him?" The ask but recieve no response "Hurry up and get this bird in the air! We've already lost the city!" The General shouted at the pilot "You saw the General at the chopper landing pad?" The person said
