we all have them
urges, that is
to eat, to sleep
to breathe, to survive
such elements are essential
for our survival
the urge to love, though,
is not present in everyone
but it is in me.
i try to resist looking at you
yet i can't
simply because of my
uncontrollable urges.
i can't resist trying
and trying
to grab your attention
hoping you have the urge
to do the same.
