'So... he's been trying to get stronger to protect me... i wonder... could it be a premonition?' he leans into her touch more, causing her heart to melt. "Well, stay in bed for a few days and get some rest, I'll stay here with you to cool you off... and please be more careful..."

He smiles softly, his eyes are dazed. "I'll try," she thinks for a moment as she watches him.
'I can't let him go outside until he has returned to normal... forest spirits are far more sensitive to warmth during the winter and at the moment heat is radiating off of his body, it's as if we had the fireplace lit.' she feels his forehead before trailing her frozen cold hands to his cheeks, and his jaw.
His eyes slowly close as he stops fighting the exhaustion. 'I need to find a way to bind his soul to mine...' she thinks about how delightful it would be to have him by her side permanently, so no one else can steal him.
She leans in, pressing her cold lips against his hot skin, first planting a kiss on his forehead, then his cheek, then his lips. At this point she's stolen his first kiss twenty times over. She kisses his jaw and down to his collarbone. 'I think i'd kill any one of my sisters if they tried to take him from me,'
Luckily none of them have found out about him yet, though they have become quite suspicious of where she is every winter, seeing as forest spirits need to be by the solar tree in order to survive winter. She raises thorned roots all over the windows and doors in order to keep others away just in case.
A dark thought comes to mind as she thinks of what she'd do if he tried to leave, 'if i carved his name in my skin he'd stay, after all Milo hates seeing me in pain, but i don't think i'll ever have to resort to that,' she slowly lifts his shirt, his chest is even hotter then his face.
She daydreams of what it would be like if he loved her, how sweet his affection would be, how gentle yet dominant his touch would be when he wants her affection, how lovely it'll be when he finally says that he loves her.
Those daydreams cause her to want more, she wants him to say he loves her, not in the daydreams, but in real life. She craves it like a drug. She begins to scheme as she lays on his chest, her hands play with his hair. 'How do I make him love me? Maybe more affection, maybe I should kiss him when he's awake to see how he reacts. If he tells me not to touch him I'll have to change my course of plan, manipulation.'
. . . hours pass as she watches him, eventually, she begins to fall asleep, she nestles her head into the crook of his neck, for once she's thankful that her horns are small. She closes her eyes and falls asleep. . .
He wakes up first at the crack of dawn. His temperature has died down, but it's still high. Lenores snuggled close up to him. 'Oh, where'd my shirt go?' he notices, but he doesn't dare move. Lenore is sleeping peacefully, he'd feel guilty waking her.
He waits for sometime before he slowly and carefully brings his arm to her waist. 'She's so freezing cold,' he enjoys her coldness. He notices the thorned roots over the door and windows, 'thorns, it's definitely Lenore's,'
She shifts in her sleep, moving closer, before slowly waking up. "Good Morning Lenore-" she sleepily gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning Milo," she smiles as she gazes up at him with half-lidded sleepy eyes, causing his face to burn up. "How do you feel?"
'Flustered,' "I feel better than yesterday, although I'm still a tad bit warmer than normal," he smiles softly, unaware of Lenore carefully watching for his reactions. "Sorry for making you take care of me last night, i was quite the burden,"
"No you weren't, it was easy, all i really did was watch you," she says as she plays with her hair. 'His face is pink, he didn't have a negative reaction, maybe next time i should try to kiss him on the lips,'
She moves to get off of him, but he doesn't let her, he brings his arm around her waist to stop her. His touch is very warm, he feels her cold frozen skin, and he enjoys the feeling of it.
He gazes into her eyes, her pale cheeks are flushed red. "Im sorry, i..." he trails off as he releases her. 'I wanted to hold her for just a while longer,' however, Lenore grabs his arm and makes him place it back on her waist.
"Your touch feels wonderful," she hides her face in his neck as she speaks. 'It's like the daydream,' she can't stop smiling.
"Your touch is as well... my blood still feels as if it's molten, but your skin is so cold... it feels nice," he smiles as he tightens his hold on her. "Can I hold you?.. just for a little while longer..." he's far more content when he's touching her.
"Of course," the two lay in bed together for sometime, just savoring each other's company. She sneakily moves one of her hands to her wings, she touches his feathers. "Your wings are soft,"
"Thank you," she's not being as rough as usual.
"The feathers are very beautiful," it's clear to him what she wants.
"Would you like a feather Lenore?" she nods. "You may have one," he flinches slightly as she pulls the one she wants. 'She didn't even have to think about which one,' he looks at the one she chose, a long white feather with a golden v.
"I'm bringing this everywhere," she grins, his face warms upon seeing how happy she is about something so small.
"I just remembered, I should go out and gather mint, I'm sure we're running low," she shakes her head quickly upon hearing the suggestion.
"You can't leave the house today," she says.
"Oh? But why?"
"It's not safe when you're like this, other forest spirits... they might sense you,"
