JAI MALA (OR THE FLOWER GARLANDS EXCHANGED BETWEEN THE BRIDE AND GROOM)
After exchanging the jai malas it was time for kanya daan (the bride's father performs the Kanyadaan, where he formally gives away his daughter to the groom. It is a sacred ritual symbolizing the entrustment of the bride to the groom) and Jhope came forward to complete the ritual. Even though no parents can give away their child but they had to perform the ritual. They stood up for the pheras as instructed by the pandit ji and completed all seven pheras with seven different vows and with a promise that they became life partners for seven lifetimes.
Later the pandit ji asked Jungkook to put sindoor (vermilion) in Jimin's maang (the middle pating of the hair) and tie the mangalsutra (symbolizing her marital status) around her neck. After all the rituals were completed the pandit ji declared ,"Ab aap pati patni ban gaye. Aap log abhi baro ka aashirvad lijiye." (Now you are husband and wife. Both of you can go and take blessings from your elders)

Just when Jungkook wanted to come down from the mandaap for the blessings he saw his shoes missing. Suga felt something was wrong so he came near them to see the shoes gone.
