Bogum replied with a trembling voice, "Jungkook believe us. We just wanted to bring Nancy because she begged us as she is the biological mother of our Wonie. Trust me there is no other hidden intentions."

Na Eun also nodded her head, "Yes Jungkook beta, bhai sahab is telling the truth. We didn't want to bring her here but this is also a fact that Jimin is not the biological mother of Wonie and during the Annaprasana puja it's always the biological parents who sit together and complete the puja. So, when Nancy came to tell us that she has been regretting her previous choices we thought why not bring her along with us and maybe even you could give her a second chance." The whole time Jungkook was quite and Namjoon and Jin knew this was the calmness before the big storm. After finishing her speech, Na Eun lightly pinched Nancy's forearms to make her speak. But before Nancy could say anything a loud crashing sound was heard.

A glass vase was broken into pieces beside Jungkook's feet. For a few moments no one even dared to breathe out loud. "Over the years just because dad have talked properly with you people, you all have forgotten your position it seems. Don't forget where you all belong. Who gave you the permission to take such a drastic decision about our family without discussing with us? Who do you think you are, huh?" Jungkook spoke in a low yet cold voice.

Bogum, Hee Jin, Jung Il, Na Eun and their kids felt shiver down their spine. Nancy also started to tremble, Jungkook was the only man on whom her seductions never worked instead his cold and stoic face scared her to death but looking at Jimin living so happily with him made her angry. It hurt her pride, what kind of charm did that Jimin have but she doesn't? Why did Jungkook look at her so fondly but not at her? If caring for that kid can help her win Jungkook back then she is ready to show some fake care for that kid. Besides after that scandal everyone knew about how she slept with Jungkook and now no modelling agency wanted to recruit such a woman with poor morals. Day after day all the contracts she signed before when she was still together with Jungkook were cancelled.

That day after she saw Jungkook and Jimin together, she couldn't believe Jungkook too can have such a sweet side. Immediately she hatched a plan to again get back together with Jungkook and for her plan to succeed she needed Bogum and Jung Il. She knew about their and their son's inferiority complex to Namjoon and his sons and she used this as a medium to include them and as she guessed as soon as she told the plan to them, they immediately agreed.

But what she didn't anticipate was that her inexperience in kids would be set-back in their plan.

Jungkook's insults made Bogum, Jung Il and the others angry bit still they couldn't say anything. Jin huffed in annoyance, "Na Eun what did you just say? Only biological mothers sit in the Annaprasan? Where is it written? In which book? Don't tell me you are referring to Nancy as a mother are you? Listen to me carefully, I'll say this only once, Nancy is just the egg donor for our Wonie, like a surrogate baby Nancy just provided her womb for Jungkook's child to be born and Jeon Jimin is the legal wife of Jungkook and the actual mother of Wonie. I hope I'm loud and clear about that." Nancy couldn't believe what she heard, 'Just a carrier for Jungkook's baby and nothing else, no this can't be happening. She can't disrespect me like that.' "Aunty what do you mean by I just helped carry the baby, a surrogate. You can't disrespect me like that. I gave birth to Hae Won and she is my and Jungkook's baby and not Jungkook and Jimin's baby."

Jungkook growled, "How dare you take my daughter's and wife's name with that filthy mouth of yours? The next you call them, I'll pull out your tongue without a second thought remember that."

Namjoon nodded and added, "That day in the hospital, I clarified that after that week Miss Ahn wouldn't have any kind of rights on Hae-Won, then what kind of nonsense is this? What second chance? Even Wonie doesn't accept you, she might be just a baby but she understands who loves her and who doesn't. What my wife said is correct, from today onwards I don't want to hear any kind of nonsense from you and the others." By 'others' Namjoon meant Bogum, Jung Il and their families. "Dad it's already too late and also time to take your medicine." Namjoon and Jin helped Byeong Ho to get up.

The old master pointed to Nancy, "One more thing, you stay away from my parpoti (great grandchild) and Jimin bahu. If you cause any kind of discomfort to them or make them cry, then remember you are going to make Jeon Byeong Ho your enemy and that won't be good for you kid. And Song prepare a few rooms for the guests in the guest house." With that everyone went to their respective rooms for the night leaving the branch families and Nancy there.

Byeong Ho's order to arrange rooms for them in the guest house means that he indirectly declared they had no place in this house and this was a huge blow to Bogum and the others. Before they could say anything, Auntie Song came to them to lead them to the guest house which was a separate house from the main house. In defeat they all went away from there.

Meanwhile, Jungkook rushed to their room to see a very beautiful scene inside. Wonie didn't look scared anymore instead she was giggling loudly and Jimin played along with her.

Jimin kissed Wonie's whole face which made her laugh. Jungkook slowly went to the mother-daughter and held Jimin's waist tightly while putting his head in the crook of her neck, take a sniff. Jimin always smelled like roses and Jungkook loves to sniff her to calm himself down. After their marriage, her presence and body scent always calmed him in the bad situations just like now. Jimin flinched a bit but relaxed in his arms when she realized it was Jungkook. Jimin controlled her tears and said, "Jungkook you know Wonie called me mamma today for the first time. I feel so happy today."

Jungkook frowned and turned Jimin to see her eyes moist with tears. He wiped them and hugged both his wife and daughter tightly, "Why are you crying, Jaan? Isn't it a happy moment as Wonie called you mamma. It means she really acknowledges you as her mother."

"These are my happy tears, Jungkook. I really am happy that Wonie's first words were mamma and that too she addressed me as her mamma." Jungkook lightly patted Jimin's back as she poured her emotions out. This was truly an celebrating moment but earlier the situation was so bad that they couldn't even think right.

"I promise to you both, that I'll give everything in me just to protect you guys." Jungkook gave another tight hug to his wife and daughter before letting them go.
