You guys are bloody bonkers. I abandoned this fic over two years ago and yet I'm still getting comments on it. You guys are dedicated, huh?

I've been reading through all your comments and it's been a while since I laughed so much. I'm going to be honest I never ever thought this fic would gain so much traction. Over nineteen thousand of you have read this, that's insane! I never in a million years expected to write something with so many reads, and I'm honestly thrilled that it's become so popular.

So, what happened? Well, first I grew out of the fandom. I actually found a draft for chapter 9 when I went to edit this, so I think I ran out of ideas halfway through it and stopped writing. I was also embarrassed about having written a fanfiction for a show that everyone around me stopped watching during childhood. It sort of just became an embarrassing memory that I shoved into the back of my mind. When I wrote this, I expected it to maybe receive a few hate comments and nothing else, but I've seen how genuinely interested you guys were in my story and felt it would be rude not to thank you all. I don't even know how many of you will be left after so long, but I hope at least some of you see this and understand just how much I appreciate all of the comments. You guys are fucking awesome!

I reread the whole fic today and while I can agree that there were some aspects that made me physically cringe (peep the excessive use of hair colour descriptors in chapter 1 💀) cringe culture sucks and I kiiinda wanna get back into this. I spent long enough trying to get my account back just to write this and it would be a bit pointless to just leave again now soooo... who's up for chapter 9? :)
