'Strange...he looks familiar..almost as if..no no they're definitely not the same person. This one's handsome and the other one is scary with a hint of creepiness' I though as I nodded to myself knowingly with a smile
I was suddenly woke from my thoughts when someone tapped my shoulder. It was venti, my Friend whom was seating on the chair behind me
"Pstt aether!" Venti whispered and I turned my head to face him "yes? What is it?" I asked with a smile
"What's the answer on number 6? Science. The period next to this" he asked with an awkward smile with one of his hand at the back of his neck
I narrowed my eyes at him then sighed as I took out my science notebook from my bag "here" I said and gave him my notebook "thanks! Thanks! I love you so much mwahhhh" venti replied with a bright smile and gladly took the notebook "you're welcome." ----- "Come on darling~ introduce yourself, no need to be shy hm?~" Ms. Lisa said sweetly while staring at the new kid. I couldn't help but giggle
The new kid made an awkward gesture then nodded at Ms. Lisa then proceeded to face us
"Alatus xiao, 19." He spoke with a firm voice while scanning the room. I couldn't help but get lost in his gaze
"Is that all dear?" Ms. Lisa asked xiao. Making me snap out of my fantasies with the new kid
He nodded "very well then, take a sit next to razor, razor raise your hand dear" Ms. Lisa instructed and razor complied
Xiao walked towards razor's seat which was Infront of mine. 'Lucky me I get to seat close to him' I thought with a smile
Xiao stopped in his tracks and surprisingly he stopped next to my seatmate "move." He demanded with one word, an annoyed looked with a piercing gaze
My swallowed my saliva and stared at the situation in front of me...'he wants to seat next to me?!' I thought with a blush on my cheeks that I quickly dismissed
My seatmate was left with a dumbfounded look with confusion written all over his face "I..what? I'm not leaving my seat for you..." My seatmate protested with a frown as he finally realized what's going on
"Tsk. Are you deaf? I said move" xiao replied clicking his tongue. I might be imagining it but I saw his pupils change color for a second and next thing I know my seatmate nodded and switched seats with him
I was dumbfounded while also amazed on how he was able to do that
He sat down next to me and placed his elbow on the desk while catching his pretty face with his palm then proceeded to pay attention in class.. although I would catch him taking glances at me..why? Cause I was taking glances too duh
Half an hour passed and Ms. Lisa's class just ended and we were left there to wait for our next professor. I was like: this is my chance to make friends with him!
"Hello~" I said with a sweet voice then tilted my head a bit while smiling and staring at my seatmate, xiao.
He just stared at me..then looked away after a few moments
My ego was like cracked cause no one had ever resisted my charm's like that. Wtf?
"Ehh?" I made a sound in confusion then stared at him "My name's aether, wanna be friends?" I said with the same gesture and smiled more sweety this time
He looked at my direction, stared at me up and down then smirked "sure, Mortal." he replied
The term mortal made my head confused and feel a sense of deja vu. 'what the hell'
The yaksha's aura was leaking out so damn much in my classroom and it was coming from the corner of my classroom. I breathed a sigh of relief knowing the yaksha and the person beside me is not the same people
But there's still this feeling of doubt I can't erase and it's driving me insane
"Interesting..." Xiao mumble with a smirk and is somehow looking at me with a smile. I decided to keep a topic going to avoid awkwardness
"Are you new here? Or did you study here before and just came back now?" I asked him with a smile
"I'm new here..what do you say about giving me a tour hm?" He suggested with his smirk still
"Sure, how about after class during lunch I take you on a tour? Does that sound nice?" I replied with a smile and continued to feel uneasy as the oozing aura of the yaksha in the corner of the room grew bigger
"Sounds nice" he said and gently grabbed a loose hair of mine and tucked it behind my ear "oh uh..thanks' I replied with a smile which he responded to with a smirk
