In the quiet aftermath of Kisaki's words, you faced a crucial decision. To reveal Izana or remain silent – each choice held the power to shape your future. This moment, you understood, would define the path your life would take.

After all, your choices are what define your life.

With a deep breath, you asked, "Why do you expect a mole, Kisaki?"

His intense gaze focused on you, feeling bubbling arise deep in your chest, putting you on edge. "I'm sure you've noticed it too." He simply put.

You eyed him carefully, crossing your arms, waiting for him to continue.

He waited a few moments before letting out a small smile, and looking down at the golden loaf that stood on the deep oak table.

Hanma's notable silence and glare heightened your unease even more.

Finally giving in, you stated the obvious, "How coincidental the attacks are?" you asked.

Hanma spoke first, "I always knew you were bright!"

"I've already known that," Kisaki added before lifting his eyes to yours yet again.

"You've been involved in the most recent attacks—the one at the bar and the one at Taiju's aquarium—but you stand here, unscathed."

With a sinking feeling, as if your heart plummeted to the pit of your stomach, the gravity of Kisaki's suspicion gripped you.

He continued, "This could indicate two things – either you're the mole, or the mole is in your network, and attempts to prevent harm to you. It's no coincidence that your time with The Black Dragons has increased."

Hanma then took a deliberate stride towards the two of you, his presence heightening the tension in the room. You could feel his presence behind you, an unsettling energy.

"So, what is it, (y/n)?" he questioned. "Are you the mole or do you know the mole?"

In response, you instinctively took a step forward, facing both men defiantly. "If you think I'd ever betray my brother or Tomon, you are out of your mind."

"Then you know the mole!" Hanma yelled out with his hands.

"The only thing I know is that I don't appreciate the third degree." You scoffed, feeling uncomfortable under their questionable stares.

"Don't mind Hanma, he's just being diligent - as always." Kisaki reassured. "Is there anyone you suspect that could be the mole in The Black Dragons?"

"No. I've already iterated to you and Taiju, I'm neutral ground."

Kisaki and Hanma shared a subtle gaze that sent a shiver down your spine, and the hair on your arms stood up.

"How much does your brother mean to you, (y/n)?" Kisaki's cold tone heightened your chill.
