Kelsey floated in midair in a sea of blackness. There wasn't much to look at it and it was hard to make out any of her new surroundings.
"Gomamon! Please, if you can hear me let me know!" She cried out only to have her voice stiffened. Her words barely made it past the cup of her hands. Her body continued to float mindlessly with no control over where she could direct herself. Her eyes tried to adjust to the transforming void but proved to be difficult.
Then, she noticed him.
Gomamon.
She was filled with joy to see the little Digimon but when she saw him clearer, it saddened her heart.
He was curled up as though asleep. He was dimmed as though all the color in his fur had been drained away.
"Oh Gomamon." Kelsey sighed.
Her body inched closer giving her the perfect oppurtunity to reach out and touch him.
Qhwn her hand touched the temple of Gomamon's head, there was a rushing sensation that spiraled Kelsey into another world.
It appeared to be a bedroom. One equipped with a king sized bed, a study desk in the corner. A simple wooden shelf stood against the wall with drawers filled with school uniforms. Everything cleaned and folded in a precise manner. It was as if someone from the military or joining it lived here.
The only thing that was a mess was the corner desk. Piled on with papers and pens and textbooks.
She walked over to get a closer look, feeling a bit nosy of the new location she was transported to.
