008. - The Broken Boy and The Forgotten Girl
Cassidy understood the plan completely, she was going downstairs to distract the guards while Emma got tiny and snuck Sam out. It was a simple plan truly, but Cassidy also realized how stupid of a plan it was. There were so many factors that could go wrong, and so many scenarios where either of the girls could end up dead. But, it was a risk Cassidy was willing to take if it meant getting Sam out of the woods.
The three were in the familiar stairwell where Andre and Cassidy almost got killed, Emma was already tiny and Andre handed the girl a GPS that was chipped to his phone. "Okay, so the GPS is tagged to my phone. Remember, just recon. No tiny action hero shit, I think this is where they're keeping him. But if you see anything shady, just bail," Andre said down to the tiny girl, who seemed all too excited for this suicide mission.
"What's his room number again?" Emma shouted from the floor.
"Northwest Wing 4," Cassidy said, cutting Andre off, she wanted to get this done as quick as they possibly could.
"Got it, get it, got it, good," Emma chanted before heading towards a tiny hole in the wall.
"Are you all right?" Andre asked, noticing how the girl's behavior was a little more erratic than normal.
"Yeah, I'm just still stoned," Emma laughed before going into the tiny hole disappearing from the two.
"Jesus fucking Christ," Cassidy let out as she watched the girl disappear. "This is a awful idea, I hope you know," She continued at Andre, watching the boy get up from his place on the group.
"Hey, it's going to be okay. You've got this Cass. If anything happens just call and I'll be there," Andre said trying to reassure her. Cassidy just blew him off before opening the door and leaving Andre behind.
When she got into the dark hallway it was like the temperature dropped 15 degrees, the girl shivered wishing she brought a sweater or something, realizing how crazy she looked in her dress. When the girl reached the end of the hallway she got into an elevator and hit the down button. When she got out of the elevator it felt like hundreds of memories hit the girl at once. She remembers being down here countless times with Cate and Dean Shetty. The girl just couldn't remember why.
"Hey, Cassidy, what are you doing down here?" a male guard asked as he saw Cassidy wander down the hall.
"Oh, Dean Shetty sent me down here, did she not tell you?" Cassidy asked the man, who was moving cautiously closer to the girl.
"No, I must have missed it. Where's Cate?" The man asked again, slowly reaching for something in his pocket. Cassidy started internally freaking out and she knew she had to do something.
"Jeez, you caught me, I just came down because I haven't seen you in awhile," The girl flirtatiously said, batting her eyelashes at the older man. He stopped reaching for whatever was in his pocket, but still moved closer to Cassidy.
"Oh yeah, is that it?" the man let out a low growl as he reached out to touch Cassidy's face. "You know, you've always been my favorite sister. You're so much kinder than your sister," the guard continued, his eyes trailing the girl's exposed body. God she wished she would have changed. She was praying that Emma and Sam would be coming out of the room anytime now.
"Thank you," the girl choked out as the man reached behind the girl's lower back and pulled her into him. Suddenly he grabbed his arm and twisted it behind her. "Please, you're hurting me," Cassidy cried out as the man turned her back into his chest. Suddenly an alarm started blaring and Cassidy heard a gun being cocked. She turned her head to the left and saw a gun being pointed right at her. "Please, I'm so sorry, I-I.." Cassidy cried out, unable to say anything coherent.
"I know why you're here, you stupid fucking cunt," The man said as he roughly pushed Cassidy down, putting her face into a monitor which viewed Sam talking to someone. Cassidy started crying hysterically, trying to fight off the guard who was five times bigger than her. Suddenly she was being hauled down the hallway by the guard, pushed into a cell.
She saw Sam's body lying limp on the floor. "Oh my god, what did you do to him?" Cassidy shouted at the guard, trying to establish a connection with him. The guard pushed Cassidy down on the ground beside Sam and started urgently throwing his blankets and stuff around looking for something. "Please Sam, please wake up," the girl quietly begged and she tried to shake the boy away.
He began to groan and cough as the guard hit his amplifier, knocking Sam back out and stunning Cassidy. Her vision started to go blurry as she laid beside the boy, trying to shake him back awake. "Please Sam," Cassidy whispered as her vision started to go black. While this was going on Emma was inside the guards brain, killing him from the inside.
"Oh god, this is the grossest thing possible!" A tiny Emma yelled out as she swam in the man's ear, covered in his blood. Then Sam looked over at Cassidy, rage taking over his body as he got up and grabbed the girl by her neck.
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" Sam roared as he lifted the girl up by her neck, slamming her into a wall. Cassidy started to choke, not being able to breathe as she tried to connect with the boy. Her vision started to get spotty again, but she felt the connection. She calmed the boy down, making the boy drop her.
As soon as she was dropped Cassidy started to choke and cough, desperately trying to fill her lungs with air. Suddenly, other guards started to fill into the room, their guns pointed at Sam and Cassidy.
Cassidy quickly connected with one guard as Sam went after another. She was really focusing, trying to do what she did with Luke. Suddenly, the man started screaming and holding his head. Blood started pouring out of his eyes and ears as the man screamed out. She could feel it, it's like she was tearing something inside of him. Tearing something inside his brain, suddenly the man fell to the ground, no longer breathing. The girl had no time to process what she had done before Sam grabbed onto the girl, pulling her as he ran down the hallway.
"I need you to stay the fuck out of my head," Sam angrily spewed out to Cassidy. The girl didn't know what else to do, so she silently nodded her head, her hand making its way to her sore throat where the boy previously grabbed and wanted to kill her.
"Do you fucking understand me Cassidy?" The boy yelled out now facing the girl.
"Yes," Cassidy cried out, terrified of what Sam could do to the girl. After everything she witnessed, she did not want to end up like the guards. "You were haunting my nightmares Sam," Cassidy muttered out to herself. The boy's expression changed after that, his hard and rigid face turned soft. He knew exactly how the girl felt, he was going through the same thing.
A/N; CASSIDY HAS FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO USE HER POWERS FOR VIOLENCE YAY!! She can control someone's emotions once she's connected with them, so why not tear the part of the brain where emotions are stored?? Also, this is definitely going to be an enemies to lovers type thing, so I hope you're excited. This also marks the start of episode 4, which means we're halfway down with this season. I def plan on incorporating Cassidy in season 4 of The Boys, as long as Cate and Sam are in it. I also have no idea when we will get season 2 of Gen V due to the strike...
