During this age, the mafia was dangerous yet normalized. The average person feared getting on the wrong food with the mafia. Especially a mafia boss. They were the most dangerous people you could come across. They are known for killing in brutal ways and having a small amount of patience.

Law was the top mafia boss, even his subordinates would not dare to trouble him. As long as they respected him, he returned it. Law was known for being extremely loyal to those he respected.

Law was removed from his trance after a few knocks at his office door.

"Yes?" Law spoke from his chair.

His office was very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. It was black with accents of crimson red. It definitely gave the vibe of mafia. He enjoyed darker colors; his entire mansion was dark after all.

"I've been notified that there are nuisance's trying to enter our system again." Penguin replied.

"Thats fine, just get rid of them. It's pathetic at this point." Law responded, moving his hand to dismiss Penguin.

Law moved to the pile of papers on his desk. He grabbed the first one, reading over the mission.

'This is an issue. I'll do it myself.'

He walked towards his drawer, grabbing the essentials for the mission. Law had a favorite gun that he always had on him. It was dark red with his initials engraved on the handle. He wouldn't let anyone touch it, no matter what. He grabbed the last things he needed and headed to the location.

It was silent when he arrived. It was rather suspicious considering how clueless the target seemed to be. All of the sudden, fire arose next to him. He quickly moved out of the way and glanced at the top of the balcony. There had been someone up there. Fortunately, it was his target. He aimed his gun towards the target and fired. However, the man was gone.

'Damn it, where the hell did he disappear to?!'

Law looked back to the balcony. Someone with a strawhat was standing right next to his target. That was right where he needed him. Law wasn't sure if he would cooperate with him though.

"Are you going to help me or not?! If not, move out of the way." Law shouted, loud enough for the man to hear.

"You want my help? Sure." Luffy snapped the man's neck and he fell off the balcony.

Luffy then jumped down and stood in front of Law.

Law was shocked when he saw the appearance of the man that just killed his target. He was shockingly cute yet handsome. Law observed the man, obviously admiring his body due to the tight clothes Luffy wore.

Luffy waved at Law in his face.

"Helloooo?" Luffy shouted.

"Do you work for someone?" Law questioned him.

"No, I just happened to be here." Luffy replied.

Law raised an eyebrow. He couldn't help but notice how careless the man was.

"Come with me." Law spoke, gesturing Luffy to follow him.

Luffy didn't follow him, obviously wary of Law.

"Come on, I won't eat you." Law chuckled, walking to the car.

They both got in the vehicle. After an hour they finally arrived at Laws mansion. Law noticed Luffy fell asleep. How on earth someone could fall asleep after someone basically kidnapped them was beyond him.

He slumped Luffy over his shoulder. The man was surprisingly light to Law. This was lightwork for him. He carried Luffy to his office after getting some curious looks from his subordinates. Penguin was waiting outside the office for Laws return.

"Boss, would you like help with that?" Penguin asked.

"No, Im not killing him. I'm quite interested in him." Law responded and entered the office.

Penguin was baffled. Law never brought anyone into his office. Much less a man.

Law set Luffy down on the couch in the room. He patiently waited for Luffy to wake up.

'Why am I so interested in him? What's wrong with me?'

Law was conflicted by his new feelings. He knew that he was into the man's appearance. Luffy was pretty cute after all, he also had curves in the right places. Law knew that he shouldn't do anything if he was just attracted to his appearance though. He was smarter than that stupidity. Just because he was a mafia boss, didn't mean he would use people for his desires and throw them away.

Luffy opened his eyes slowly.

"Where am I?" He asked.

"You're in my office, dont be scared." Law assured.

"Are you keeping me here because I helped you or what?" Luffy mentioned.

"That is partly true. However, I am also interested in your abilities."

"My abilities?" Luffy asked, clearly confused.

"Yes, you seem quite strong. I could use someone like you close to me." Law explained.

Luffy was confused but he understood. His brothers were mafia as well. But should he join this stranger?

"Okay!" Luffy replied, smiling.

"You're insane, what's your name?" Law asked as he went through more papers on his desk.

"Luffy!"

"I'm Law, pleased to work with you Luffy." Law smirked.
