Keeping You Safe - Lawlu

Luffy ended up being extremely of use to Law. His strength seemed to have no limits and that's exactly what Law was looking for. He was sort of surprised that Luffy would just join him without any information, but the man had his own reasons so Law didn't bother.

"Law!" Luffy bursted in Laws office.

"Wait you're supposed to knock idiot!" Penguin shouted.

"It's fine, also don't shout." Law spoke.

Once again, Penguin was baffled. 'How had Luffy become so familiar with Law?' Penguin thought.

It felt kind of unfair but it's his boss, so he didn't care. He had to gossip to Bepo and Shachi later though. Obviously.

He snuck from the hallway outside of Laws office and ran towards the living room. Shachi and Bepo were sitting and taking to each other.

"Guys!" Penguin whisper-shouted.

"What!?" They both shouted back, in sync.

"Have you seen Boss's new side man?" Penguin asked.

"What? Boss brought someone new here?" Shachi questioned.

"Yeah, he's really cute too. Do you think Boss is finally interested in someone? It's about time." Penguin explained.

They all gave each other a shared look.

"We need to set them up." Bepo said.

"Does Luffy even like Boss though?" Shachi asked.

"I don't know but Boss sure as hell likes Luffy. He literally stares Luffy down any chance he gets. It's quite endearing." Penguin replied giggling.

They all started giggling, a little too loud.

"What are you doing?" Law asked from the entrance of the living room. Luffy was standing next to him as well.

"Nothing!" They said at the same time.

Law raised an eyebrow but decided it didn't matter.

"I need you guys to assist Luffy on a mission. Just in case he needs something. Understood?"

"Yes boss!" Penguin said as Shachi and Bepo nodded.

Law turned around and walked back to his dark hole of an office.

"Hello!" Luffy smiled and waved.

"Hello, when are we leaving?" Shachi greeted him.

"Right now, let's go." Luffy replied and walked out the door, the trio following him.

They arrived and entered the building. It just so happened to be a gamblers house. There were tons of people here. They observed from afar at first before walking in.

The mission was to find the case of cash and return it to Law. If someone got in the way you would have to get rid of them. That was common sense.

"You guys can stay at the entrance, I'll be fine." Luffy told them.

They were wary but nodded anyway.

Luffy walked in, dressed for the occasion. He was wearing a black suit with a tight red shirt underneath. He blended in quite well.

He was staying quiet until someone approached him.

"Hey cutie! Wanna join me in the back?" Some old guy asked Luffy.

"Who the hell are you?" Luffy asked.

"Shh it doesn't matter, just come with me, let's go have some fun!" The guy laughed and grabbed luffys wrist.

Luffy turned around and punched the man, hard. He finally understood what the man was hinting at.

"Don't touch me." Luffy yelled and walked away to complete his mission.

The trio saw him from the entrance and laughed.

"Damn he really gave it to him, huh." Penguin laughed.

"As he should! People shouldn't touch someone because they're wearing tight clothes and it seems attractive. Like keep your hands off." Shachi agreed.

(Time skip)

Luffy eventually exited the gamblers house and met back up with them. He had a large wound on his waist. It was pouring blood.

"Woah! Luffy are you okay?!" Bepo asked, cautiously moving Luffys suit coat.

"It's okay, it just hurts a bit." Luffy replied, grunting.

"Do we need to call boss over? This seems serious!" Shachi mentioned.

"I took care of everything, the cash is here." Luffy said before his vision went black.

"Hey!"

Bepo caught Luffy before he fell.

"Let's just call boss, he'll probably get a medic to come over here." Penguin said.

Law received a phone call from Penguin.

"Hello?"

"Boss, you should get a medic over here. Luffys been wounded."

"What? Is he okay?!"

"He just passed out from blood loss."

"I'm coming over there right now, don't move."

Law arrived at the gamblers house and walked over to Luffy and the others.

"Boss you really didn't have to come out here, we could've just got a medic or let him die." Shachi said, rolling his eyes.

"No. The last thing I want is him dead." Law responded, already holding Luffy in his arms. He made sure not to touch the wound.

"Since when do you care?" Penguin asked.

"Since he existed. I'm not sure yet but I have feelings for him. I don't know how this idiot made me like this." Law sighed.

They all gasped.

"YOU LOVE HIM?!?" The trio shouted.

"Shut up. I said I wasn't sure." Law explained.

Law carried Luffy to his car while the others got in another car. He carefully set Luffy down in the passenger seat and closed the door.

After a while they made it to Law's residence. He brought Luffy to his room and laid him on the bed. Law felt wrong removing Luffys shirt but he had to. He removed it and stitched the wound shut. After he was done, he wrapped his waist in bandages. Law couldn't help but look at Luffys small waist in the process, being careful to not overstep his bounds.

Luffy started to grunt and he opened his eyes.

"Law?" He whispered.

"Yes? I'm here." Law replied in a whisper.

"That was scary."

"I know, what can I do to make you feel better?" Law asked gently.

Luffy reached his hand out and grabbed Laws rough finger.

"Hold my hand."

Laws ears turned red as he grabbed Luffys hand and intertwined their fingers. Luffy was also a blushing mess.

Law sat down next to the bed, not letting go of Luffys hand in the process. He'd rather die to be honest.

They both eventually fell asleep. Both were overworked and exhausted.
