A month later, they were unfortunately still too nervous to do anything. Luffy was getting irritated because of his feelings. He knew he liked Law but couldn't figure out if Law likes him. On the other hand, Law was getting ready to confess. He was almost sure Luffy liked him.

Law walked into his office, calling penguin inside as he entered.

"Yes, Boss?" Penguin asked.

"I need advice on a personal matter." Law explained.

Penguin was surprised. Law never asked for anything personal like this.

"What would that be?" He asked again.

"I'm going to confess to Luffy. I need advice on how I should do it."

Penguins eyes widened and a small smirk was on his face.

"Do it in the garden. It's a lovely place with a decent romantic atmosphere." Penguin replied, smiling.

"Hmm, that sounds nice. Thank you, you may leave." Law said.

Penguin left the office and closed the door.

Law knew what to do now. He was going to confess to Luffy in the garden tonight. Law was planning to make it as romantic as possible.

"Boss!!" Shachi and Bepo ran in the room.

"Yes?" Law asked, raising his eyebrow.

"YOUR CONFESSING!?" They shouted.

"How do you know that? Did penguin tell you?"
Law sighed.

"WE JUST OVERHEARD IT!" They shouted again.

"Stop shouting you're damaging my ears. Also, yes I am." Law replied.

They looked at each other and started giggling as they ran away.

Law put his hand on his forehead and sighed.

"This is going to be a long day."

It was now around 7pm, and the sun was almost fully down. Law finished the last part of his work and got up. He needed to find Luffy first before anything.

After awhile, he eventually found Luffy in the lounge.

"Luffy?" Law spoke.

Luffy turned his head to see who was calling him.

"Hi Law!" Luffy smiled.

"Come with me."

Luffy tilted his head to the side in confusion but agreed anyway. They arrived at the beautiful garden behind Laws mansion. There were few lights but it added to the romantic atmosphere.

"Wow! I didn't know you had a garden here!" Luffy smiled big.

Law had a slight smile before he grabbed Luffys hand and brought him to a specific part of the garden.

Before Luffy could say anything, Law spoke.

"I'm going to tell you something. If you do not feel the same, it's fine. Don't be threatened by me please."

"What's going on?" Luffy asked, clearly nervous.

"I like you. Before you respond, I want you to know how dangerous it will be to be my partner." Law said suddenly.

Luffys eyes widened and he looked at Laws eyes. Law seemed to be very serious. He was looking at Luffy like he was his last life source.

Luffy walked towards Law and hugged him tightly.

"I like you too. It doesn't matter if it's dangerous, you love me and you will protect me." He whispered into Laws shirt.

Law hugged Luffy back for a moment and let go.

"Can I kiss you?" Law asked.

"I'm your boyfriend now, you don't have to ask." Luffy replied with a soft smile.

Law leaned down to Luffys height and held his face as he kissed him. It was a soft and passionate kiss. Law was pleased when Luffy smiled into the kiss. He let go of him and reached out to caress Luffys face and watched him as he leaned into it.

Law smiled softly and embraced Luffy tightly.

"I love you so much." Law whispered.

"I love you too." Luffy giggled as he wrapped his arms around Law.

They continued to enjoy each other's presence as they hugged. Law was a dangerous man that could easily kill someone yet he held Luffy so gently. Luffy blushed at the thought.

"Law you can't hug me forever you know." Luffy laughed.

Law let go and grabbed Luffys hand, bringing him along

"Wait where are we going?!" Luffy was shocked at his sudden actions.

"My office, I still have work to finish and I would like you by my side." Law replied as he walked to his office.

Luffy smiled and let Law bring him there. They finally made it to the office door.

"Hello Boss." Penguin greeted.

"Hello." Law responded.

"Would you like me to bring Luffy to his room?" He asked.

"No, that's fine. He will stay with me." Law replied, walking in.

He sat at his chair and looked up to see Luffy standing there awkwardly.

"You can sit over there on that chair or you can come here." Law offered.

Luffy smiled and walked over to Law and sat in his lap, facing him. He wrapped his arms around Law and put his face in Laws neck.

"I'm already sleepy, you're so cozy.." Luffy mumbled.

"You can sleep if you'd like, I don't mind." Law used one arm to hold Luffys hand and rub his fingers. His other arm was working on the papers. Every time Luffy sits in his lap, he falls asleep. It wasn't like Law hated it anyways. Even if Law tried to hide it, he was increasingly exhausted. Luffy sitting in his Lap and warming him up was making it so much harder to stay awake.

"Penguin." Law called.

Penguin opened the door and started,

"Yes boss?"

"Finish these papers please." Law asked and stood up, still supporting Luffy as he slept.

Penguin nodded and walked over to grab the papers to start working on them.

Before looking over Penguin, Law headed to his bedroom and laid Luffy on the silk sheets. He covered him up and went to bathe.

After Law finished his shower, he put clothes on and got in the bed with Luffy. He wasn't sure if Luffy would be okay with him holding him. His thoughts were washed away as soon as Luffy rolled over and hugged Law. Law wrapped his arms around him gently and closed his eyes, falling into the darkness of sleep.
