The next morning Law needed to assign someone new to him. As penguin was a traitor, he needed his next most trusted subordinate.

Law sat at his desk rubbing his forehead as he thought.

"Bepo would be good as he is trained in medicine...However, I do also want to consider Ikakku because she's strong and trustworthy."

In the end, Law ended up choosing Ikakku. It would be better for Bepo to stay in the background as a doctor anyways. Law got up from his desk and went to find Ikakku. She was in the lounge chatting away with Bepo.

"Ikakku," Law called out.

She turned around and bowed, Bepo doing the same quickly after her.

"Hello, boss!" She greeted.

"Come with me." Law asked, motioning for her to follow him.

They arrived at Laws office and sat down.

"I'm assigning you as my new personal assistant. I trust that you will stay by me no matter what." Law explained.

Ikakku's eyes widened. She hadn't expected for Law to choose her out of all people. After all, most mafia bosses would laugh at Law for having a woman for an assistant.

"A-are you sure?! Im not sure if im strong enough for that!" Ikakku asked, still shocked.

"Yes. I have thought it over and decided this is best. You will receive special training under me, on top of your current skills."

"Thank you boss! I promise you can trust me." She bowed and hurried to exit the room.

Law smiled to himself. He knew Ikakku wouldn't betray him. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard his door open.

"What are you smiling about?" Luffy asked, smiling as he entered.

"I just assigned Ikakku as my new personal assistant. I'm sure she will do just fine." Law explained.

"Thats good! I was wondering, what am I supposed to do now?" Luffy asked.

"You may do whatever you like as long as it isn't dangerous. I don't want you hurt." Law looked at him seriously.

"Hmmm... I don't really know!" Luffy laughed.

Law cracked a worried smile and brushed it off.

"Thats fine, you can decide when you're ready." Law assured.

"Also, my brothers are coming today! I hope you don't mind." Luffy grinned.

"Luffy..." Law sighed.

"Yes?" He asked, tilting his head to the side while smiling.

Law laughed and walked over to kiss Luffy's forehead.

"Let me know these things beforehand love." Law smiled and caressed luffys cheek.

"Sorry! I would've told you yesterday, but I just forgot!" He laughed.

Law cupped Luffy's cheeks and leaned in to kiss him but was interrupted by a knock at his office door.

"You may come in." Law spoke, a bit irritated at the fact that they were interrupted.

"Hello boss, you have two guests in the lounge waiting for you." Ikakku mentioned.

"Okay, thank you."

"Of course, boss." She smiled and left.

"She seems to be doing her job well so far..." Law thought.

He was once again interrupted in his thoughts when Luffy grabbed his arm and pulled him to the lounge, excited to finally see his brothers after the long time apart. They arrived there and Law observed the two people.

One was blonde with scar over his eye, pretty tall as well. Law looked over the other guy also. He had black hair with freckles, looking irritated at something.

"Ace! Sabo!" Luffy shouted, smiling. Letting go of Laws arm in the process.

"Luffy!" Ace and Sabo said at the same time.

Luffy tackled his brothers into a hug soon after.

"It's been so long!" Luffy smiled.

"Are you okay?! This guy didn't hurt you right?!" Ace yelled, concerned.

"No, no, I'm fine! Law's been really nice to me!" He laughed.

Ace turned around and glared at Law before Sabo hit his head.

"Stop glaring at him, we're trying to have a nice conversation." Sabo reminded and nudged him in the side.

"Hello, we are Luffys brothers. Nice to meet you. Thank you for being so kind to Luffy recently." Sabo smiled and greeted.

"It's no problem" Law replied.

"Anyways, meet Law, my boyfriend!" Luffy smiled.

"Your boyfriend!?" Ace and sabo shouted.

"Yes?" Luffy asked.

"How is he your boyfriend!? Isn't he kidnapping you or something?!" Ace shouted.

"What do you mean? Laws been taking care of me. Matter of a fact he saved my life!" Luffy explained, grabbing Laws hand.

Ace and sabo noticed the gesture and decided to calm down.

Ace grabbed Luffy away from Law and whispered to him.

"Are you really happy with this guy?"

"Of course I am!" Luffy yelled slightly.

"Are you guys going to continue to torment my boyfriend?" Law asked.

"No, I apologize. We will take our leave now, bye Luffy!" Sabo smiled and left, pulling Ace with him.

"Bye!!" Luffy waved.

Luffy turned to Law and apologized. 

"Im sorry about my brothers, they can go overboard sometimes..." He scratched his head.

"Dont worry about it, are you alright?" Law asked as he walked up to him. 

Luffy nodded and looked up at Law to smile. Law reached out one of his hands and rubbing Luffys cheek with his thumb. Luffy closed his eyes and leaned into the touch. Law saw this and his eyes widened. How someone as kind and gentle as Luffy could love a mafia boss like him was beyond Law. 

Luffy must've noticed Laws doubts as he cupped Laws face with both hands. Law raised an eyebrow, waiting for Luffy to do something. Luffy leaned closer and kissed law slowly. They both closed their eyes as they kissed. Law grabbed Luffys arms and put them around his neck. He then grabbed Luffys waist gently with his hands. Luffy shivered into his touch, laws hands wrapping perfecting around his waist.

Law eventually separated from the kiss and touched their foreheads. He was so in love with Luffy it was painful. To the point of obsession even. 

"I love you." Law spoke.

"I love you too." Luffy replied, smiling lovingly.
