Aelita's P.O.V:

The darkness rolled in quickly. Bombur cooked a large pot of stew and Bilbo volunteered to take two bowls to Kili and Fili. I sat at the base of a tree with Inanna on my lap, away from the rest of the company. I was twisting one of my knives in my hands as my thoughts drifted to Rivendell.

They were very close to Imladris and I know Gandalf was right. Lord Elrond was one of the very few people in Middle Earth who would be able to tell them everything about the map. But I knew Thorin would never allow it; his hatred of Elves ran far too deep.

I was getting tired and dozed off, sleeping with my little baby. Only for a few minutes, We woke up and see everyone is gone!

"Where did everyone go?" I asked no one in particular, But it woke Inanna and then Altair came flying. "Aelita! Trolls! They have the others and need help." He reported.

"Blasted Trolls, they may be dumb, But they could eat anything if they caught them. But one thing they can't stand, is sunlight." I sighed, As Inanna flies off with me and Altair to find them.

"Why didn't they wake me up anyway? I could've helped." I questioned in thought. Then I found them, their bodies tied in sacks, and three trolls. I quickly hid in the trees. But then I overheard one of the trolls talking about the sun, Which got Bilbo's attention.

He was speaking to the trolls to distract them, But he might need help. I pulled out my long shard-like dagger from my arm bracelet and tilt it to flicker light at Thorin, It got his attention and sees me.

I mouthed and gestured 'Help him. Distract. The sun!' Then make quiet creaking stone sounds acting like I'm being turned to stone, pointing at the Trolls. He seems to understand and nodded. He kicked one of the arguing Dwarves and got them to say they are sick and infected so they won't get eaten.

Then Inanna howled, scaring the Trolls, then her howl commanded the winds to blow hard and put out the Trolls' campfire. Then I noticed Gandalf standing on the boulder above us, he came back! "The dawn will take you all!" Gandalf said.

"Who's that?" The first Troll, Bert asked, "No idea." The second Troll, Tom added. "Can we eat him too?" The dumb third one, William asked. Gandalf stroke the rock splitting it with his staff.

As soon as the sun hit the troll's they were all turned to stone. I sighed in relief as I now jump off the tree and run over to my friends, All the dwarves cheered but all the ones on the split still looked uncomfortable.

"Where did you go to, if I may ask?" Thorin asked Gandalf after all the company was free from their various confinements.

"To look ahead." Gandalf said as I walked up to him. "What brought you back?" I asked, "Looking behind. Nasty business. Still, you are all in one piece." Gandalf muttered tapping one of the trolls on the head with his staff.
