The school talked of nothing but Sirius Black for the next few days. The theories about how he had entered the castle became wilder and wilder; Hannah Abbott, from Hufflepuff, spent much of their next Herbology class telling anyone who'd listen that Black could turn into a flowering shrub.

The Fat Lady's ripped canvas had been removed from the wall and replaced with the portrait of Sir Cadogan and his fat grey pony. Nobody was pleased about this. Sir Cadogan spent half his time challenging people to duels, and the rest thought up ridiculously complicated passwords, which he changed at least twice daily.

While the five Slytherins walked around the hallway on their break to Hagrid's hut, other students still talked about Sirius Black.

"How do you guys think he got in?" Henry asked.

"Come to think of it... isn't Malfoy's mother's family surname Black?" Easton said as Y/N stopped walking.

"Do you think he knows?"

"It must be Malfoy, then. Doesn't Black want to kill Potter? And Malfoy hates him, so maybe he let his uncle or, I don't know, second cousin enter the castle," said Benjamin, nodding.

Y/N and Kayden looked at each other, knowing it was Y/N who let him inside.

But then something caught Henry's attention. "Hey guys, does Hagrid have a new dog?" he asked.

Easton squinted his eyebrows. "Huh? I don't think so. Why?" Henry pointed at Hagrid's hut, and everyone spotted a new black raggy dog playing with Fang.

"There, that dog wasn't here before when we started. Maybe Hagrid recently got a new dog." Henry shrugs.

"Y-yeah! Hagrid told me he got the dog recently; I discovered it a few days ago." Y/N stuttered a bit on her words.

"R-right?" Y/N elbowed Kayden's gut, which made her groan. "Huh? Yeah, new dog. I mean, it's Hagrid. What do you expect from him?" Kayden said.

"Hmm, I guess so?"

But then, once the dog glanced at the five Slytherins, it immediately ran to the certain Slytherin girl.

"The dog seems to like you very much, Y/N." Hagrid smiles.

Kayden coughed "pedo" and let out another cough; Y/N glared at her and shook her head.

"There, there. You should be careful and not do any other dogs... like licking because you see that girl there?" Y/N pointed at Kayden.

Kayden gave the dog a look, and the dog stopped licking Y/N's face.

"I'll kill you. If you do that again." Kayden mouthed to the dog.

The dog... Sirius Black.

"So, Hagrid, you've heard about the rumours—that Sirius Black is in the castle. Do you think we'll be safe?" Benjamin said, looking nervous.

"We fought a troll before. And you're scared of a murderer?" Asked Henry.

"Yes?"

"How pathetic,"

Y/N was now being closely watched. Teachers found excuses to walk along corridors with her, and Percy Weasley (Y/N suspected, on his mother's orders and due to their interactions before)was tailing her everywhere like a highly pompous guard dog; however, sometimes would stay close due to the fact her Slyttherins friends would glare at him because he's a Weasley, prefect, a Gryffindor and he's Percy Weasley. To cap it all, Professor McGonagall summoned Y/N into her office; with such a sombre expression on her face, Y/N thought someone must have died.
