A few days later...

Allie slowly opened her eyes and was greeted by a familiar face.

"Good morning, my love." Mave said as she planted soft kisses on the other girl's face.

Allie giggled as she held Mave's face to stop her from kissing.

Their day went on normally. Mave went to her work at the local café and Allie went to school.

Allie was walking home when she felt a slight pain from her head.

"Allie..." It was that same voice that was calling her from last night.

She almost fell to the ground, thankfully a strong set of arms caught her.

"Baby, are you okay?" It was Mave, asking her with a worried face.

Allie stood up and nodded. They went home with Mave giving her a piggy back ride because she was worried Allie might faint in the streets.

When they were home, Mave put her down gently on their sofa and left to get her a glass of water.

Mave bent down and examined Allie's face.

"What happened, baby?" Mave asked gently.

"I really don't know... I just heard someone calling my name and then I felt a major head ache." Allie explained.

"Is the voice familiar to you?" Mave asked with a tone she doesn't usually use.

"It was, it's like I heard it from somewhere." Allie replied as she continued to massage her temple.

"She needs you back, Allie." Mave stated with a sad smile plastered on her lips.

Allie looked at Mave with a questioning expression.

"Sino? Ano bang pinagsasabi mo?" Allie replied, confusion is written all over her face.

Mave smiled as she sat at the space beside Allie.

"You have to go now, love. Rein needs you." Mave said as she held Allie's hand.

"Ano bang pinagsasabi mo, Mave. Where do I have to go?!" Allie asked, frustrated because of Mave's words.

"Home." Mave simply replied.

"I am home!" Allie angrily replied.

"You're not. This... all of this is not real, Allie. You have to go back." Mave said as she tried to hold her tears back.

"What do you mean it's not real? Mave, ten years. We've known each other for ten years! Simula pa pagkabata na'tin, and now you're saying na none of this is real!?" Allie replied as she stood up frustratingly.

Mave followed and stood up as well. She hugged Allie from behind as she let her tears fall.

"I love you, Allie. So much that it hurts for me to let you go." Mave said in between sobs.

Allie turned around to face Mave. Wiping her tears.

"You have to wake up now, love. I'm just a part of your dream. Kahit masakit para sa'kin na mawala ka." Mave said, staring directly into Allie's eyes.

"Then I'll stay. We'll make this world our reality." Allie replied, tears falling down from her eyes.

"We can't, Allie. She needs you." Mave said, again.

"Ate Allie, please..."  She now recognized that voice, it was her sister. She felt a familiar pain on her chest. She missed her sister.

"I'm okay, love. Balik ka na sa kanya." Mave said with a smile. That damn smile that makes Allie contemplate her decisions.

"I'll come back to you, I promise." Mave swore as she softly held Allie's cheeks.

Mave kissed her. So tender and full of love. It felt like it was the last.

It was.

Allie opened her eyes and saw Mave slowly fading. She tried to catch her but failed. Everything turned black and Allie was left alone in the dark.

She closed her eyes and cried.

A sound of beeping and blinding lights woke Allie up from her slumber.

She opened her eyes and saw a blurry figure from the side.

"M-mave?" Allie muttered. The figure moved and held Allie's hand.

"Ate! Tatawag ako ng doctor, stay awake please..." The blurry person said.

After a few seconds, the blurry figure was back along with another blurry figure. It was her sister and a doctor.

The doctor checked on Allie and thought that it was a miracle that she woke up from her coma. She was in a coma for 3 years.

Allie closed her eyes and let her tears fall. She wished she didn't wake up from the most beautiful dream of her life.
