Chapter 5

The first few days that Allie woke up, she didn't talk nor eat. She just stared at the ceiling, crying and trying to go back to sleep.

Rein, Allie's sister was there everyday and witnessed all of it. She was always there to take care of her sister. She always talked to her even though she doesn't get any response.

Rein was fixing Allie's things when Allie suddenly spoke.

"I miss her so much, sana hindi na lang ako nagising." Allie said as she contiued staring at the ceiling.

"Hindi ko alam kung anong mas masakit, ate..." Rein said as she sat next to Allie's hospital bed.

"Yung ilang taon kang hindi gumising o 'yung nagising ka nga pero parang wala ka rin sa kasalukuyan." Rein continued as she wiped off her tears.

Allie stared at her sister with a blank expression. She then sat and pulled Rein into a hug.

"I'm sorry..." Allie muttered as she felt the other girl's hug tighten.

They stayed like that for a while until both of them broke off the hug.

"Sino si Mave, ate?" Rein asked.

"Bakit mo natanong?" Allie replied.

"That was the name na you kept on saying simula nang magising ka, who is she, ate?" Rein asked again.

Allie smiled before answering, hurt was evident in her eyes.

"She was the girl of my dreams." She answered truthfully.

Allie told her sister everything that happened in her dream, she thought that Rein would laugh at her but the latter was only listening to her, looking at her with soft eyes. When she finished retelling her dreams to her. Allie cried again, she missed her. She missed Mave. Rein hugged her.

"I just wish that she became part of my reality." Allie said as she cried her heart out.
