[He lost everything, and I lost everything too. Maybe that is why we couldn't bear each other at first but ended up being so important to each other]

"Look dude, either you tell her or I do."

Ajax was looking at the ground. After the fiasco that was his first date with Enid he had been avoiding her, too shameful about stoning himself on accident.

"Man, I-I can't!

-The more you wait the more she'll ressent you."

Elisabeth's voice was muffled as she was laying in Jacob's head, scrolling on her phone.

"Who stone themselves just before a first date..."

Jacob, who was playing on his computer, and Elisabeth turned at the same time toward Ajax. They stared at him for at least five seconds before returning to their occupations.

"Like I-"

There was a knock on the door. Jacob groaned when he saw that nobody was getting up even though the knocks were becoming insistant. He paused his game and got up to open it.

He was then faced with Wednesday holding a big knife and nail gun.

"Stepped up your game?

-Where is your roommate?"

Jacob looked behind him then back to Wednesday.

"Not here."

Wednesday tried to look behind Jacob but he leaned in the door, blocking her view.

"And what are you doing with all this?

-I have a promise to uphold.

-Nailgun him?

-His heart.

-How about you don't do that.

-Enid cried.

-She always cries.

-All night.

-Yeah he messed up but-"

Wednesday fired a shot in his foot, the nail went through it as if it was made of mist.

"Okay, I get it you made your point. He's not here though.

-If you're lying I will nailgun you.

-I never lie.

-..."

Wednesday glared at Jacob before finally walking away. Once she was far away Jacob went back into the room and locked the door before looking at Ajax.

"You done fucked up man. She finna kill you."

Jacob suddenly realised he lied to Wednesday.

"... and me just after you."

Elisabeth sighed.

"Instead of worrying about something that won't happen why don't you practice your dancing skills?"

Jacob turned toward Elisabeth.

"I'll let you know my dancing skills are as good as they were before.

-They were ass."

Jacob's eyes began to glow, they didn't return to their somber purple and stayed as bright blue, but the orange hues were gone.

"Speaking of ass, why don't you get your fat ass out of the bed and show us just how good you are at dancing?"

Elisabeth frowned.
