In the midst of everything both of us got lost forgetting we are here for work not flirting with each other. I wouldn't say I wasn't enjoying this, enjoying him, but still the people outside the room mustn't have any hint about what is happening inside, but even if they see anything I am pretty sure it wouldn't make any sense to them. I walked up to the printer and clicked print as the documents for us to sign to seal the deal got out, it would take a bit of time, as I kept facing the printer, I saw him walking up to me with his hands in his pocket through the corner of my eyes. It has been barely a day since I met him but I think I am already in love. I chuckled about my thoughts about 'me falling in love'. He stood beside me leaning on the desk as I looked at him with warm eyes, I was rather surprised as he didn't wear the confused look on his face anymore instead smiling brightly as he looked deep into my eyes. It's all like a rom-com drama till now, but I wasn't complaining, i loved his gaze towards me, how he switched his emotions in front of me. we didn't talk with words but our eyes. After the printer finished its job it made a kinda loud beep sound and we both looked at it.
'let's finish what we are here for first if you don't mind.'
'Sure.' he said chuckling silently. I walked up to my desk picked up a pen signed the papers and passed it to him, he did the same without hesitation, without reading the contract. 'you should at least read it.' he didn't reply, finished signing and then looked up, as he brushed a strand of hair from my face he said, 'i wouldn't mind even if you rob me until I have nothing left.'
'you shouldn't trust a stranger that much you know?'
'right.' he said pointing his both index fingers to me as he looked down with a childish expression, 'let's not be strangers anymore then, let's go on a date, what do ya say?'
'I am sorry but I don't do dates, also I am really busy today.'
'you say so 'cause you have never been on dates.' I gave him an expression which clearly said, 'How do you know?'
'Well that's what expected from a pretty girl with a dual personality who is also filthy rich.' I chuckled, normally I wouldn't like this type of comment but for some reason, his truth didn't hurt me at all, rather gave me a hard cold realization which I was ready to accept as he stands in front of me. He took the pen from the table, took my hand and scribbled something, 'Meet me at my house, 6 tomorrow.' he said as he stepped back, 'i will be waiting for you.' he said as he gestured his hand saluting, 'bye your highenss.' and left the room smiling brightly.
