I was crossing the road when it started pouring heavily. I love rain; it amazes me how the rain covers every bad thing around it. There is a café right across the street. I entered and ordered a cup of coffee. As I sat by the window and watched the rain, I felt really happy and relieved. Just then, someone else entered the café. There was no one except me and the server in the café, so I looked around to see who it was, and I felt like I knew the guy. Yes, I actually know him. But I was too happy to take my eyes off the rain, so I stared back out of the large glass.

After a few minutes, the guy came and sat next to me with a piece of cake in his hand. I am not really a fan of cake in the rain; I prefer fried snacks and tea. We both sat in silence; I looked at the rain, and he stared at me. A few minutes passed, and the waitress came up to him and said something to him in Bulgarian, which I am pretty sure he didn't understand, so I did him the favor of translating it to him.

"She is asking for an autograph; she says she is a big fan," I told him. He stared at me for a few more seconds before turning towards the waiter, taking the piece of paper from her hand, and signing it with a smile. She walked away. I took a sip of my coffee, and he stared at me and talked this time, "Thank you for the help." I said "You're welcome" quietly.

He must want to continue the conversation because he said, "You must know a whole lot of languages."
"May-"
"And you're really pretty." That caught me a bit off guard, but I didn't show it on my face. I stared right into his eyes and replied with something he probably didn't expect, "I know that."
He looked at the other side and smiled, "Can I get your number?"
"How will you find your place in this rain in the unknown city?"
"Sorry?"
I gave him a little smirk, and he finally understood my question. "How do you know?"
"It's quite obvious. You don't know it around here, it's pouring heavily, and you're alone."
"I am pretty sure I will find a way out." The surprised look still hadn't left his face. So I decided to make him more surprised. I turned my body fully toward him, with our faces inches apart, "Do you need shelter for the night?"
"I'm sor-" thinking he finally got me, "Sure, if you don't mind." The guy played along well.

This morning, the bed feels warmer than usual. Even though it's raining outside, it doesn't feel cold at all; the blanket and arms provide me with the warmth I always crave, craved. I am not the type, but sometimes it's just something, something that makes you realize maybe you're not lonely. Not something that happens often but something that stayed, and is still with me.

'Hi'
He just smiled and pulled me in a hug, I missed him, I missed him so, so much, I stayed in his arms, I like it here, I was happy, am happy. He lifted me up and took me inside, after the greetings we said no word to each other, but it feels like we already said so much and we still have so much to say. He sat me on the table, looked me in the eye, and asked with happy eyes, 'How are you?' He didn't let me reply, 'I missed you so much, and you're just so busy I couldn't even get an appointment, and I have so much to talk to you about, how are things here, when were you planning to visit me?
'SHUT UP.. I am here now, breathe and wait for me to reply.'
'Ahhh yes yes yes, suree..'
We both stayed silent, 2 secinds if silence and burst out laughing....
'I missed you too.'

We talked and ate and laughed and felt alive,
'So when are we getting married.'
'When i get bored with all the other guys or when there are no good ones among them?'
He looked displeased and asked,'really?'
'Oh yeah, or when youre the last guy living in the planet.'
