The next day...

Beau and Casey walked down to the lair. Beau ordered breakfast pizza for the turtles. As soon as they got down there, they could hear them training. Beau looked at the dojo entrance. Casey was still in the kitchen setting up the food. He stood at the entrance of the dojo. I stood off to the sidelines. He saw Splinter wave to him. He gestured for him to come over to him.

"Not what you expected?" Splinter asks.

"No, it's not that. I used to take ninjutsu classes. I graduated at the top of all the classes," Beau said.

"But?" Splinter asks.

"I can't believe how caring you are. You accepted me into your home," Beau said.

Splinter pulled him into a hug. Beau started crying.

Leo defeated Donnie. Donnie saw Beau.

"Beau, you okay?" Donnie asked.

Mikey froze. Raph flipped him over and threw him on the floor. Splinter looked at Beau's blue eyes, which were filled with tears. Mikey hugged his friend. Raph joined the hug, and so did Leo and Donnie. Casey walked in.

"B, what's wrong?" Casey asked.

The turtles dispersed from the hug. Beau hugged Casey. Casey rubbed his back.

"I miss them," Beau muttered.

Casey knew what he was talking about.

"I know, I'm sorry, B," Casey apologized.

Leo placed a hand on his back. "Beau, how can I help?" Leo asks.

Casey smiled at him. Beau turned to him.  "I don't know," Beau sniffles.

Leo hugged him in a tight big brother hug.

"Can I ask why you're upset, my friend?" Splinter asks.

"Sometimes I see or smell things that remind me of my parents, and it makes me feel sad. Ms. Hallie said it's the feeling you get when your pain button gets pushed.

"Pain button? What's a pain button?" Leo asked.

"It's where something and it can be anything triggers you and causes you to feel like you're in that moment of trauma. And it feels like you're living your worst event all over again," Beau explains.

"My friend, I apologize if I ever made you feel upset," Splinter apologized.

"No, you didn't. Well, it's partly you, but it's not your fault. You remind me of my grandfather. He was kind and loving. He had a beard like yours. He had four kids, and he was a cheese connoisseur," Beau describes.

"What's a connoisseur?" Mikey asked.

"An expert on something, Mikey," Donnie educates.

"He had the biggest cheese factory in New York. After he passed, he passed down the business to my dad, I inherited the business from my dad and my parents ' room mansion, pool houses, and guest house," Beau says.
